Full description
The Central Florida Everglades are natural wonders, best explored with locals who know their backwaters. The beautiful landscape and expert guidance of your captain will make this tour a trip that you'll never forget. Guests on our Scenic Nature Tour explore narrow water trails engulfed in the brush of the Central Florida Everglades. On this tour you'll stop periodically, hoping to spot Florida's state reptile, the American Alligator, in its natural setting. Witness rare and endangered birds swooping effortlessly through the skies as the sunshine warms your body and the wind whips through your hair. Other wildlife abounds throughout the trip. This tour is perfect for groups and families looking to explore and learn about the unexpected side of Central Florida. A longer trip on our Detailed Nature Tour of 1-hour increases the number of encounters with Florida's wildlife, especially the American Alligator, which can reach up to 15 feet in length and 1,000 pounds. You'll experience nature right alongside turtles, bald eagles, blue herons, deer and a wide variety of waterfowl in their natural environment, not in captivity. Be sure to also check out the Gem Mining Station. You will be able to purchase buckets filled with treasures that are native to Florida and take to the mining station. While mining, you will discover various gems, alligator teeth, shark teeth, rocks, and other treasures. There will be an additional charge for gem mining bags or buckets. A restaurant with indoor or patio seating is available, where you can dine before or after your tour (at your own expense).

My family and I had a great time. The boat captain did a great job giving us a fun ride and finding lots of wildlife and telling us all about the Everglades and its wildlife. Then the kids had a great time panning for gems and the food at the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely do this again when we come to Florida again

Captain Chris was great and Nan was just do accomafating and friendly. I saw 8 alligators on the tour and hundtefs of birds These were even cows out in the swamp eating the tall winter grass. Amazing! The Native Florida Indian show was amazing by "Little". Icon's pronounce his native name....haha. He is a very well educated and witty man who I could have talked to for hours. He lives on site in the swamp and is currently hand carving a dugout canoe. Mote Amazing! Now...the beef brisket was incredible. It was a large portion, had so much flavor, melted in your mouth and I think it was less than $10 I believe! I highly recommend and will be bringing friends back for this experience!

The place was nice and great customer service

We paid for an hour tour online. However we were unaware that we had to make an appointment prior to attending. So when we got their they no longer had spots available. My wife an I were disappointed dude to paying for the full hr. So the lady that works there got is on for the 30 min tour so we were able to experience part of the Everglades but still a bummer.
