This section of the Rogue River is known for its thrilling 2 sets of class IV whitewater rapids, Nugget Falls and Tilomikh Falls. This 4-hour whitewater trip is only 15 minutes from Medford, and starts out with multiple class II and III warm-up rapids before building to an exciting climax with the final two adrenaline pumping rapids. Nugget Falls is a sight to see, the river funnels into a tight channel before descending over the main drop and into two thrilling waves sure to cool you off on a hot summer day. Tilomikh Falls, the final rapid on this section of the Rogue River, is an adventurous climax as the group descends 2 pour-overs, before plunging into the final hole at the bottom. When your group arrives at both class IV rapids, you will have the option to walk around if you choose, making this a great day for any family with kids 8 and older looking for a little sunshine, water, and adrenaline. This 4-hour trip leaves twice daily and include snacks.
