Come join this BBQ cruise on the catamaran MARA for a perfect full-day trip!   Departing from the Albufeira Marina, you’ll start by cruising westward along the coastline of the south of Portugal. The skipper and crew will give you information about the places and sights that you pass by – in particular, you’ll get a great view of the rock formations and caves of the areas of Benagil, Galé and Carvoeiro.   As you sail, your BBQ will be prepared by the crew on board with the freshest food. Served on a beach, savor your choice of fresh fish, meat, sausages, Algarvian salad, chips, bread, and seasonal fruit. Spend some time on the beach for a swim and other beach activities before getting back on the boat to head back. Sail for 3 hours around the Algarve Coast aboard an impressive schooner sailing boat and discover picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, and impressive rocky cliffs.   Depart from the Marina of Vilamoura and head west where you can see the extensive beach of Falésia, followed by the fishing village of Olhos d'Agua (eyes of the water). Continuing your journey, the boat slips through the water past all the tiny beaches with their red sand cliffs. Sail past Albufeira, which was a fishing village but now is a vibrant tourist location. Admire the steep cliffs of São Rafael and stunning rock formations. In good sea conditions there is a stop for a swim in the ocean and a visit to one of the sea caves. Feel the splash of the waves and the wind in the sails as the ship start turning around near Galé. Get a chance to help with the hoisting of the sails or assist the captain at the helm. With luck, spot dolphins swimming alongside the boat.

During our trip back we will have many opportunities to observe other species while our boat sails calmly through the channels of this Natural Park in direction to the city of Faro.
