Of course in Sintra one must visit Pena & other palaces, and Quinta de Regaleira. But there are so many MORE gems that are hidden as well. This tour is a must to actually learn about traditional life in Portugal (which the normal tourist sites do not show at all). And Filipe was a fantastic tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and very fun. He obviously loves his country as well. If all you want to learn is who built a chair in a palace, this is not the tour for you - stick with the run-of-the-mill palace tours. But if you want to know what life was like in the small village, call Filipe. You won’t be disappointed.

We were surprised to have basically a private tour tailored to our needs! It was a wonderful experience where we learned a lot about the region, had great conversations, and also time to ourselves to explore. The highlight was the palace at Queluz! We practically had it to ourselves! I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone and will be in contact to organize my next tour when I’m in Portugal!

Our Guide came to pick us up at the hotel and made a tour starting with Cascais, then we went to Cabo de Roca, Sintra and the Pena Palace. At each stop he explained the most important thing in the place and gave us time to go for free and discover more. The guide named Miguel spoke Spanish, English and other languages perfectly. He was very pleasant and attentive at all times.

It was a fantastic tour, with all credits to the tour guide! He told everything about the city, showed us all the beautiful places and gave us all the space to see all the sights! It was a top tour, highly recommended!
