Alberto was wonderful! He took great care of us, and let us have as much our as little time as we wanted. The Sunday market was incredible, and there is just about anything you could hope for. Yagul was also incredible. Oaxaca Shuttle/Enjoy Oaxaca have been great to book with! They are very communicative, and responsive. By far the best tour group communication we had on our visit to Oaxaca. Thank you for everything!

We enjoyed a beautiful Sunday off the beaten track on this tour of the ancient city of Yagul, which dates back to the Stone Age, which provided an appropriate scene-setter for the modern-day market town of Tlacolula. Ede was an enthusiastic and passionate guide who also steered us through the busy market stalls of local women preparing a barbecoa lunch for locals, which we also enjoyed. She also took us on a tour of the 16th-century San Jeronimo Tlacochahuaya church and explained how the Zapotecs found subversive ways to weave their own culture and beliefs into their brand of Catholicism after the Spanish conquest.

I booked this tour for myself and two others and Wow is all I can say! This tour was fantastic but the guide, Hugo, really made the trip special. He picked us up at our Airbnb in a nice vehicle and drove us to all the sites. He asked what we were interested in and made stops along the way that weren’t originally on itinerary. We really appreciated that and all the additional information. It’s obvious he knows a lot about the Oaxaca. The best stop of the trip was definitely the market. Much bigger than the one in Oaxaca and more of a local feel. That said it could’ve been overwhelming if we were not with a guide. The other stops were cool too because they aren’t usually on peoples itineraries. Cannot recommend this experience enough.
