Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru National Park. When you arrive at the Uluru Sunset viewing platform, be greeted by a selection of Australian wines and a cheese board as you begin to absorb the beauty of your surroundings. Find your ideal spot, and then just sit back and relax as you watch the sun disappear behind the horizon and change the colors of the rocks in a million splendid ways. After sunset you will be transferred to an exclusive barbecue site. The site is located far enough away from the resort lights to provide a clear view of the stars in the southern sky. Relax in the company of friends and fellow travellers on beautiful white tablecloths, enjoying sparkling wine. Dine on an Australian gourmet barbecue menu of steak, kangaroo meat, lamb sausages, chicken skewers and garlic prawns, salads and a tasty dessert. All accompanied by a selection of red and white wines, beer and soft drinks.  After dinner, tea, coffee and dessert will be served and your guide will conduct a tour of the night sky, describing and pointing out some of the visible constellations with the assistance of a high beam spotlight. The guide will also explain some Aboriginal stories that relate to the stars before you return to Ayers Rock Resort.

2. Uluru Sunset Camel Safari + Aussie Damper, Beer & Wine

When you arrive at the Uluru Camel Farm, you will briefly enjoy some spare time to take in the surroundings, meet the staff, see the camels and visit and/or feed our barnyard animals: there's kangaroo, water buffalo, emu, ducks and more. After a safety briefing from the staff, you will be introduced to your friendly camel by name and learn how to get on and off him. When it's your time to climb on, the camel experts will guide you through every step of the way! Once on your camel's back, you will be guided to the bush track and embark into the spectacular desert for your one-hour camel ride. Your skilled cameleer guides will entertain and educate, telling you fascinating stories about the territory. You'll also learn many interesting camel facts, from their history in Central Australia to their behaviors, personalities and biology. The guides will be able to answer any questions you might have about your camel. Watch the majestic sun set from atop a sand dune. From this vantage point, you will enjoy stunning views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and watch their colors change before your eyes. You will then return to the farm at twilight to relax and enjoy Australian beer, wine, champagne and outback bush foods including the farm's famous freshly baked beer-bread damper. Enjoy time to browse various camel related items (books, souvenirs etc) including bush dukkah and other delicious foods and trinkets to commemorate your time at the camel farm.

Depart Ayers Rock Resort and journey into the sacred world of the Aboriginal peoples of Australia on a drive around the base of Uluru by comfortable coach. Get explanations about the extraordinary site from your driver/guide, and hear about the numerous sacred sites found there. Continue to the Kuniya Walk, where your driver/guide will escort you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. See Aboriginal rock paintings, and learn more about the area as you are shown some of the native flora and given details of both the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Next, go to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and learn about Aboriginal culture. Look at fine examples of Aboriginal arts and crafts, and then journey back to the rock in time to watch the sunset from the viewing area. Marvel at the striking color changes on the rock as you enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.

4. Kata Tjuṯa Sunset Tour with Sparkling Wine and Cheeseboard

Sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing National Park while your driver guide shares insights into the natural and cultural history of this fascinating region. Kata Tjuta simply translated means ‘many heads’ and given the 36 steep-sided domes of Kata Tjuta, it is aptly named. This incredible formation of rock domes extends six kilometres into the ground and is the remains of erosion that began more than 500 million years ago. The area is sacred under Anangu men’s law and under this law, details of many stories of Kata Tjuta are not known except to initiated men. While delighting in chilled Australian wines and canapés, you can enjoy the wonder of a Kata Tjuta sunset. Each passing minute brings something new as the domes continue to change colour with the setting sun.

You will depart the resort late afternoon: sit back and relax as you travel into the amazing Uluru–Kata Tjuta National Park. Your driver guide will provide expert commentary while you enjoy the amazing surroundings and incredible sight of Uluru in the distance. This fascinating icon stands 348 metres high, although most of its mass is below ground level. You’ll be overwhelmed by its incredible size, presence and inherent spirituality.  Enjoy sparkling wine and nibbles while you begin to absorb the enormity and beauty of your surroundings. You can just relax or stroll around the Sunset Viewing Area to discover your own personal space to watch the amazing Uluru sunset.  Don’t forget to take a photo every few minutes to capture the famous colour change. Have your driver guide take a photo of you with Uluru in the background – although they say the memory will stay with you forever! Return to the resort after sunset and in time for a dinner booking.
