Join a guided sunrise tour to Field of Light, an immersive art installation featuring 50,000 solar-powered stems and globes that resemble a field of glowing flowers, with transfers from Yulara included. See the gentle rhythms of color light up the desert and enjoy a hot drink at the crack of dawn. Rise early to travel the short distance to a desert location overlooking Uluru. Your driver/guide will provide insights and the background of the art installation. Under the cover of darkness, wander through the pathways that encompass the 50,000 spheres of light in the desert, before making your way up the hill to the Dune Top viewing area. Watch the transformation of colors and life as the desert awakens, while enjoying tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Witness the splendor of Uluru on this day trip from Alice Springs. Head to Mutitjulu Waterhole for a short hike to the home of the ancestral Wanampi water snake and share some traditional "dreamtime" stories. Sip a glass of sparkling wine as you watch the sunset over Uluru, and end the day with a barbeque dinner before the return journey to Alice Springs.

Travel from Ayers Rock Resort to the beautiful Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station along the way. Once at Kings Canyon, you'll make the rock climb to its rim for some marvelous views of Watarrka National Park and the spectacular surroundings. Follow the rim of the canyon along the 3-hour circuit walk, stopping to look down into the canyon gorge at various look-out points along the way. Time permitting, you may choose to descend into the green oasis of the 'Garden of Eden.' While the tour is recommended for those with a good level of fitness, you may opt for the easier, shorter walk to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor. Then, you can grab lunch at your own expense. Finally, begin your return journey to Ayers Rock Resort.

Spend a day in the natural habitat of fascinating wildlife creatures at Litchfield National Park. After being picked up from your accommodation, ride to the famous Adelaide River. There, you'll board your private boat and cruise up the river. Feed the crocodiles from the boat that teem in the water and see an abundance of wildlife all around you. You may even see a crocodile launching itself out of the water with the power of its tail. At the famous Litchfield National Park, you'll visit three waterfalls – the Wangi, Florence and Buley rock holes – and get the opportunity to swim in all three. Lunch is prepared in the park by your guide – a big bush picnic with an array of wraps, cold meats, bread, salad and fruit. Snacks are also included along the way if you're ever feeling peckish. Local and knowledgeable guides will give you thorough commentary throughout the day and stop for lots of photo opportunities. Marvel at the magnetic and cathedral termite mounds, and take time to visit the butterfly farm. Return to your accommodation in Darwin, or on Sundays and Thursdays, at the famous Mindil Beach Markets.

Even if you have walked around Uluru, you won't fully apprecaite the awesome spectacle of this monolith until you see it from the air. You will be able to take photos that you will treasure forever through unique bubble windows. Upon pick-up from your hotel in an air-conditioned transfer coach, you will be driven to the Ayers Rock airport where your crew will provide you with a thorough brief on helicopter safety prior to boarding the helicopter.  After boarding the helicopter, you will then be flown to discover the awe-inspiring scenery of Uluru and its surroundings. Exceptional visibility is frequent in the Red Centre - witness the breathtaking vastness and stunning contrasts of the Australian desert landscape. 

Watch wild saltwater crocodiles and their hunting techniques as you cruise down the Adelaide River. Enjoy a tour with wildlife guides that know the crocodiles individually by name and personality. This tour is 100% Indigenous-owned with all profits going to the Groote Eylandt Archipelago community. Join this tour with staff who are issued Wildlife Permits by National Parks and Wildlife to ensure no animals are harmed during these interactions. Watch them offer the crocodiles a taste of buffalo meat in return for them swimming out to say hi. Your guides are highly trained to ensure the safety of both the crocodiles and passengers at all times and animal interactions comply with an internationally recognized code of ethics to ensure the safety and sustainability of the wildlife. Also, keep an eye out for other wildlife that call this river home. You might even spot white-bellied sea eagles, whistling kites, bull sharks, black flying-foxes, the endangered speartooth shark, and the critically endangered large tooth sawfish.

Get picked up from the Ayers Rock Resort and journey by luxury coach to the sacred rock of Uluru. Visit the Cultural Centre and learn about the local Pitjantjatjara people before going to Uluru (Ayers Rock) to take part in a base walk. Follow the Mala walk along the northwest face of the rock to see fine examples of Anangu rock art.  Then, head to the Mutitjulu Waterhole for your 2nd base walk at the home of an ancestral watersnake called Wanampi. Share some stories of the local traditions and learn about the legendary Dreamtime. Sip a glass of sparkling wine and take in the beautiful sunset while your dinner is prepared by your guides. Enjoy a tasty barbecue outdoors as you marvel at the views. Be amazed as the rock changes color before your eyes as the sun sinks over the horizon.

Visit the infamous Cahills Crossing to safely spot saltwater crocodiles, explore the floodplains of Ubirr, go to Fogg Dam Conservation Centre and the Bowali Visitor Centre. Leave tropical Darwin, traveling through the rich floodplains towards Kakadu National Park, a 20,000 square kilometer area, teeming with wildlife, important Aboriginal rock art sites, and diverse landscapes. Make an optional stop at the Jumping Croc Cruise on the Adelaide River, or visit the Fogg Dam Conservation Centre. See the traditional lands of the Limilngan-Wulna people (who are active in the reserve's management) to explore the diverse wildlife of the Top End, home to numerous species of birds, turtles, water pythons, and of course, the iconic Saltwater Crocodile. Go to the Bowali Visitor Centre and learn more about this special place's rich indigenous culture and history. Visit the famous Cahills Crossing searching for crocodiles at this eye-opening stretch of water, the only road access point between Arnhem Land and Kakadu National Park. Visit the World Heritage-listed, sacred site Ubirr rock art, home to some of the oldest and best-preserved rock art galleries in the world dating back some 20,000 years, and discover the hidden secrets with a guided walk.

Feel the glow of the sunrise from a Uluru viewpoint on this day trip from Ayers Rock while waking up with a coffee or tea. Take a gentle but rocky track into a world of rare plant species and evergreen shrubs known as Spearwood. Learn about local flora and fauna, and the geology of this amazing formation. Hop back onboard the bus for the comfortable ride back to your meeting point in Yulara. 

Enjoy a comfortable transfer from your hotel to the base of Uluru. Upon arrival at the Segway base area, your tour guide will provide you with comprehensive Segway training. You'll take part in a short safety briefing and have a practice ride on your Segway. Afterward, you'll be ready for your guided tour of the magical Uluru, also known by its non-native name, Ayers Rock. Departing from Kuniya carpark located at the base of Uluru, you'll be led by our fully qualified and knowledgeable guide into the iconic Mutitjulu Waterhole to explore the sights and sounds. This is one of Uluru's lesser-known hidden gems. Then quietly and effortlessly cruise around the entire base of Uluru on your Segway.
