The tour itself was very good and we had an excellent tour guide. However, the pre-trip administration was appalling. We could not get through to the local operator (AAT KING) so we did not know until we were actually on the trip whether lunch was provided. There was also no pick-up information and the promised drop down list of locations did not exist. Your customer service desk could not help us either. Very poor indeed.
Our driver and tour guide was really knowledgeable and created a great friendly vibe on the bus. The stop at Edith Falls was really quick and we were back on the road again. It is a long hot day. Katherine gorge was very special but really hot. The bus is pretty tight but air working which was important. A bit off a once in a lifetime memory visiting the gorge. Loved the stories and history.
John who was our tour guide, was great with his knowledge and all the questions that were asked. He got the kids involved and he really made the tour worthwhile as there was 6 of us on the tour which was a nice number. The only thing I'd say is there wasn't any kiddy friendly cereal but my son enjoyed the other options of banana bread and hot chocolate
Fantastic day exploring Kings Canyon. We opted for the harder rim walk but the 500 steps up were well worth the amazing views. Dylan and Jakob were fabulous guides and made sure we were having a great day. The stops at King's Creek and curtin springs stations were a wonderful insight into red centre living.
Thoroughly enjoyable day. Excellent introduction to Tiwi culture. We appreciated the generous welcoming and the sharing of stories by our guide, Vivian. Loved the opportunity to do the silkscreen.
