The tour will travel through the outback landscapes to the entrance of the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From this point, it is only a matter of minutes before the spectre of Uluru rises from the sand dunes to demonstrate its enormity and presence in this country. Your first step allows you a photographic opportunity of this amazing icon. With Uluru looming in front of you, journey toward the base. Walk with your guide to a place of tranquillity. The closer you wander the more you surrender to the realization of the sheer size of this monolith. As you drive around the base, your guide will take you to the entrance of Mutitjulu Waterhole, a semi-permanent watercourse nestled in the contours of Uluru. Here you will learn the Creation stories of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (python) as well as a number of other stories associated with other prominent Tjukurpa (dreaming) stories. You will see the rock art of the ancients and learn how Uluru was, and still is, a significant location for teaching young Aboriginal people. You will then adjourn to the new Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area for sunset where you will observe an uninterrupted view of Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the background. Once you’ve returned to your starting destination your guide will take you back to your Ayers Rock accommodation.

Your guide will meet you at the entrance of your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort, from where you will travel through the landscape to the entrance of Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park. From there is it a 40-kilometre journey through the desert landscape to the mighty rock formation. On arrival at the viewing area, walk to the best vantage point to see the 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place while watching the sun's morning glow as the desert comes alive. Make your way to the western side of Kata Tjuta where you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy an outback picnic breakfast. As you approach the entrance to Walpa Gorge, named for the wind (Walpa) that whistles between the massive domes that shape Kata Tjuta, the result of aeons of weathering and continual upheaval, your guide will share the significance of this sacred ceremonial site. Take a stroll between these mighty conglomerate rock walls as your guide explains how the environment and the geology have evolved over millions of years. Your guide will return you to your accommodation at Ayers Rock Resort at the end of the tour.

See the incredible Kings Canyon from above on an exciting 15-minute helicopter flight! Keep your camera poised as you swoop low over the Kings Canyon and enjoy startling views of the Lost City, the Garden of Eden, Kings Creek and Carmichael Crag in an air-conditioned helicopter. Fly through the Watarkka National Park, taking in the front view of the George Gill Range. Follows Kings Creek up into Kings Canyon where you can see the paths for the Kings Creek walk and the Rim walk from above. Enjoy the spectacular view of the 100-meter-high cliff walls, the Garden of Eden and the Domes of the Lost City. During the flight, your pilot will point out the incredible scenery along the way. The return leg of your flight takes you alongside Carmichael's Crag and the Dingo pups for incredible views out over this impressive landscape. The sky will come alive with marvelous colors as you fly over the mix of rugged bushland and red sand desert. Your pilot will return you to Kings Canyon at the end of your flight.
