What people are saying about North-West District

This was an excellent trip but there was a few hiccups at the start. We were late being picked up and then there was an issue at the border when passing us onto the transfer at the Botswana side. The guide at chobe also didn’t know we were supposed to be on a cruise after the game drive either. Although he did sort this for us. People make mistakes though and we weren’t going to let it ruin our holiday. The border is around 45/60 mins form vic falls and is open between 06:00-20:00. The trip itself is amazing. The game drive with Brave was excellent and he was very informative. Sitting in the 4x4 surrounded by hundreds of passing elephants is something you will never forget. Brave was also able to spot not one but two different leopards at two different times during the drive. One was up a tree and we were able to get some brilliant photos. We also saw lions charging elephants and all the other animals. The cruise was also good seeing elephants make the river crossing

A slight delay in picking you up at the hotel didn't harm the good organization on site. Nice staff who helped at the border crossing, we liked the boat tour best, saw great scenery and lots of animals. A small point of criticism: our voucher did not clearly state whether a pick-up at the hotel was possible. Our email request was not answered. We only received confirmation after a phone call to the provider.

Excellent day trip from lodge pick up and transfer to the Zambia/Botswana border where our excellent guide for the day (Phil) met us and guided us through immigration. Great morning game drive, followed by an excellent 3 course lunch and then a boat / river trip in the afternoon. Saw all of the big 5 except for the elusive leopard!

Our guide Broken was not broken indeed! He is the master of the Bush. An ever lasting memorable event with key wildlife viewed at very close proximity. My wife, except the massaging road to, enjoyed every moment. Moremi rocks.

This tour is great. If you like nature and tranquility, you should especially choose this activity. Well organized and very experienced guide.
