Botswana’s Chobe National Park, located on the banks of the scenic Chobe River, is home to one of the largest game concentrations in Africa. The tour departs daily from Victoria Falls town [Zimbabwe] & Livingstone town in Zambia to the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Upon pick up, Your guide will drive you about 1 hour to Kazungula border between Zimbabwe and Botswana, You will do our immigration formalities. The tour starts with the morning game cruise along Chobe River. Around the afternoon, you will have buffet lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge/Chobe Marina Lodge. After lunch, you will board our open 4X4 safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an abundance of wildlife. This is one of the perfect chance to spot and search for the big 5. The day depends on guide knowledge of game, you can start with a game drive in an open 4 x 4 vehicle and finish with a boat cruise or vice versa. This depends on animal movement on the particular days.

Enjoy a buffet lunch at a scenic riverbank lodge. Then, hop onto an open-sided vehicle for a game drive in the National Park, witnessing elephants, Cape buffalo, lions, and more. Stay refreshed with provided beverages throughout. The day concludes with a drop-off back at your Livingstone accommodations, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Africa's stunning wilderness.

After pickup at your accommodation in Kasane, pass through the Botswana border then the Zimbabwe border. Once all immigration processes are complete, hit the road to spend the day exploring Victoria Falls, known by the locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya — "The Smoke That Thunders." In the morning, visit and view the falls from the many different viewpoints, after which you'll be transported to a restaurant of your choice to enjoy lunch. Once you've eaten, discover the local markets and do some shopping or simply admire the local curiosities. Later, explore the Victoria Falls Rainforest and see how the never never-ending rain from the shadow of the falls supports the development of a rich and diverse plant community, which in turn supports a diversity of insects, amphibians, birds, and mammals. After you have taken in all the beauty and magic of the falls, you'll be taken back to Kasane and dropped off at the lodge where you were picked up.

Celebrate the end of the day as the sun sinks into the Chobe River on a 3-hour guided sunset cruise. Enjoy this special time of day in Africa as you cruise upstream into the Chobe National Park and see massive herds of elephants streaming to the river banks for their last drink. After pickup from your centrally located Kasane accommodation, transfer to the Chobe River Jetty to board your boat. Make the most of the best time of day to view the abundant wildlife on the banks of the Chobe River. As the temperature cools, large herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, and impala can be seen making their way down to the river. Hippos and crocodiles are also common sightings on the Chobe River Sunset Cruise. Elephants frequently cross the river to the islands where the lush green grass is available year-round. At the end of the cruise, you'll be transported back to your accommodation in Kasane.

After pickup from your accommodation in Kasane, travel to the Chobe National Park, aiming to be at the gates by 6 AM. Please remember to bring $15 for entry into the park. Once in the park, hop in a custom built 4x4 safari vehicle, with open sides offering exceptional views, then set off on your game drive with a qualified safari guide. With your guide's local experience and knowledge, learn about the park's distinct ecosystem and its diverse range of animals. Once your 3 hours are up, you'll be returned to your lodge in Kasane, kazungula and Lesoma areas.

Move quietly through the shallow waters of the Okavango Delta in a traditional mokoro and give yourself the best chance of seeing aquatic wildlife. Visit the eastern delta in a community-controlled wilderness area and enjoy a truly soothing experience. After pickup from your hotel or lodge in Maun, make your way to Audi Camp and board a motorboat near here, depending on the water level. Head along the Boro Channel to Boro Mokoro Station to meet your boatman, known as a poler. Next, hop into your mokoro with your experienced poler, a master of the channels of the delta who is astute in co-existing with aquatic wildlife. Learn about the amazing ecosystem that is the Okavango Delta, and soak up the tranquility of the area. Break up your mokoro tour by setting up a picnic lunch on an island. Marvel at the breathtaking views and take a nature walk before exploring more channels in the delta. When your once in a lifetime experience draws to a close, head back to the Boro Mokoro Station where your engine-powered boat will pick you up for a trip to Audi camp to arrive before sunset. Alternatively, you may be picked up by car.

As you’ll be among the first to arrive into the park on this early morning trip, you’ll have the best chance of seeing a large range of wildlife. The park is commonly known for its remarkable elephant population. Follow big cats across the wilderness, edge up to herds of elephants, buffalo and giraffes, and cruise down the Chobe River for water-based wildlife encounters. The day trip to Chobe takes you deep into Botswana’s big game country, a vast and diverse terrain that supports a huge assortment of creatures. The drive from Victoria Falls to the park takes just over an hour, and the day trip includes pickup and drop-off from your hotel in Zimbabwe. Getting into the park early increases your chances of seeing lions and other wildlife that are less active in the heat of the day. The game drive into Chobe National Park will start soon after the gates open. Your driver will be a professional guide with extensive knowledge of the park and its inhabitants. The park is especially known for its massive elephant population, huge array of bird species, and big cats such as lion and leopard. You will discover some of the park’s distinct ecosystems with dense woodland, extensive savannahs, and rolling grasslands while traveling along the Caprivi floodplains. After your game drive, you’ll be treated to lunch at the Chobe Safari Lodge, before a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River. This will give you ample opportunities to enjoy the gorgeous river scenery and extraordinarily close views of lots of animals, including elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and bird life. This is a highlight for most, which ends with a view of the sunset over the river. After the river cruise, you will return to your hotel in Victoria Falls late evening.

For the full-day tour, meet your driver at your hotel in Victoria Falls at 7:30 AM. Embark on a day of fun, excitement, and adventure at one of the great game parks on the African continent, the Chobe National Park in Botswana. Travel for 1 hour until you reach the park. Upon arrival, set off on a guided game drive, which lasts for approximately 4 hours. Explore the vast terrain of the park and keep an eye out for Africa's Big 5 game animals: lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo. Take in the fantastic views of the park, with several fantastic photo opportunities. After the game drive, stop for a delicious lunch, before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise. During the cruise, sail gracefully down the river and enjoy the spectacular river scenery and up-close views of species such as giraffe, antelope, hippo, and crocodile, as well as a variety of wild birds. After the cruise, be returned to your hotel in Victoria Falls, arriving back at approximately 6:30 PM. Alternatively, pick the half-day tour which is exactly the same to begin with, however, it does not include lunch and the boat cruise. The other option is to upgrade your tour to the extended day tour which is the same as the full-day tour but has an earlier pick up (at 5:30 AM) so you have the chance to watch the sunrise over Victoria Falls National Park. With this option, you will also be able to watch the sunset over Chobe National Park. Both lunch and breakfast are included in the extended tour.
