Learn to surf on the idyllic Sunshine Coast at Noosa Heads, one of Australia's best known surfing towns. With warm water and a safe beach, it is ideal for learning how to surf the waves. Start off with a safety briefing and some basic instruction on the beach before catching your first few waves waist-deep in the water. Back on the beach, take in some detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surfboard before finally paddling onto the wave. Feel the thrill of standing on your first wave with the help of your instructor, who will assist by pushing you onto waves, and offering advice and support to everyone for the remainder of the lesson. Feel free to use the showering facilities at the end to leave feeling refreshed after an exhilarating lesson.

Join a luxury helicopter experience in the city of Gold Coast with live commentary from your pilot. Start from a state-of-the-art terminal and get onboard an air-conditioned helicopter to enjoy aerial views of the city, Broadwater, Main Beach, and Gold Coast Hinterland. Fly over the Broadwater before crossing the golden sand beaches of Main Beach. Head south along the coastline passing Surfers Paradise, home to the cities towering high-rises, including the iconic Q1 Building which stands at 1056 feet tall. As your helicopter soars towards Broadbeach, see distant stunning views of Point Danger and Burleigh Heads. Over Broadbeach, buckle up as your pilot helicopter makes a descending turn. Cruise or canoe the tranquil waterways of Australia's only Everglades. A courtesy shuttle is available from 8 transit stops within Noosa and surrounds (departures start from 7.45am). On departure we cruise past the Wharf complex and Marina towards Mooloolah Island which boasts some of Mooloolaba’s most desirable mansions and award winning homes. We continue on past Minyama Island where you will hear all about its famous residents before entering the Kawana Canal system and learning the history of the canal development. We'll also cruise past Steve Irwin's famous vessel Croc One! It’s then out to the river heads where we turn the boat around to take in the breathtaking views of the coastline from Mooloolaba Beach right up to Noosa Heads, before we head back through the river where we pass the pilot boats, commercial fishing fleet and observe the wild Osprey Eagles’ nest among other things. There is a fully licensed bar onboard offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as well as snacks. The 1 hour Mooloolaba Canal Cruise is a must-do during your time on the Sunshine Coast!

Witness the majestic beauty of the humpback whale in the ocean off the coast of Noosa during their annual migration. Begin with a relaxing cruise down the Noosa River where you’ll soak up the sights and fantastic views of Noosa from the water. Then, your captain cruises out into the ocean in search of the friendly giants. Your nature-focused cruise will take you to locations that cannot be fully appreciated from the land, including amazing natural cliff formations, emerald forests, hidden coves, and sweeping beaches. Upon locating the whales, enjoy an awe-inspiring experience as you watch these playful giants frolic in their natural habitat. Departing from Noosa Marina, Captain Nathan will take you on a relaxing scenic cruise down the Noosa River and around the headland. Depart Brisbane and journey past small villages and farms as you venture into the mountains of the Blackall Range. Get stunning views of the coastline of Queensland and stop at Mary Cairnscross Scenic Reserve for panoramic vistas of the majestic Glass House Mountains from the lookout. Continue past Gerrard's Lookout and marvel at the views of Coolum, Maroochydore, Caloundra, and Bribie Island along the coast.
