  • Saint-Laurent-du-Var: 4-Hour Fishing Trip

    4. Saint-Laurent-du-Var: 4-Hour Fishing Trip

After meeting at the port of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, head off on your guide’s boat into the waters of the Mediterranean to start your fishing adventure. Perfect for amateurs and pros alike, this experience is catered to your skill level. Make use of provided cutting-edge fishing equipment to make sure you catch the biggest fish in the waters. As you skim over the stunning waters of the French Côte d’Azur, gaze back over the seaside cliffs and greenery from a new perspective. Using a variety of techniques, including trolling with with lures and live bait, spinning with lures, and jigging, you’ll have the best chance to catch a variety of fish, including Amberjack, Barracuda, Bonita, Tuna, Bluefish, Dentex, and Grouper. You’ll have the opportunity to take home your catch, within the limits of respectful fishing.

We enjoyed our time fishing. Our guide was a great fisherman but he could have been a better guide. We didn't really learn how to do things ourselves. He usually cast and then handed us the line when there was a fish on. We would have preferred more instruction on how to do it ourselves. The communication was a bit difficult given the language barrier. Given the price point of this option compared to others that we looked at we think it was a good deal and we got just about what we paid for. Not sure we would book again just because we wanted a slightly different experience. If you're novice fishers looking for a low price point I would recommend this experience.

Awesome trip! You going to see European Grand Canyon, totally beautiful, breathtaking! Have a few stops, take lots of photos, swim in the fresh water lake. Groups are small, max 8 people, mini vans are very comfortable and drivers , or I should say our driver/ guide Leo was excellent! Spoken few languages, very good knowledge of area. Just a couple of things every one should consider….. Beautiful lavanda flowering in July, so if you go on this trip in spring or autumn don’t expect purple beauty . Also the cars or minivans as well as comfortable they are for 8 people and driver. Isn’t big room to move, so please be considerate to each other and don’t wear strong parfums please . The rest is up to you to pay ( very good value for money) and enjoy beautiful Provence

We loved the trip! We would have liked more time in the gorge to go swimming/ kayaking. Less time needed in the village. Leo was a charming tour guide! You should have been clearer during booking that lavender would not be out this time.
