Synonymous with glamor and the high life, Monaco packs a lot into its borders. Known for its wealth, high rollers, and celebrities, the second-smallest country in the world has all the elements that make for an unforgettable trip. Once a year, the streets are converted into the famous Formula 1 race track which can be experienced on non-race days in a Lamborghini. A visit to the Monte Carlo Casino will provide an exciting afternoon, followed by an evening walk to the harbor to see the spectacular superyachts you can buy with your winnings.

A small commune offering breathtaking views high over the French Riviera, Èze is rich in history. When walking the cobbled roads, make a stop to visit the Chappelle de la Sainte Croix, the oldest building in the village. The city also has plenty of activities for nature lovers. Head to the Jardin botanique d’Èze to hike among the collection of cacti and take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Or, for a more contemplative experience, hike the Nietzsche Path named for the famed German philosopher who would walk the path each day during his stays in the south of France.
Èze is popular among people visiting Nice, as it is only 12 kilometers (7 miles) away. The bus will get you there in 25 minutes, and a trip by car can be even faster.
Head to Cannes for beaches, old ports, and terracotta roof tiles. Made famous for its annual film festival, the city is regularly frequented by film stars and features luxurious shopping areas with plenty of top-name designers. The markets selling local produce are perfect for a mid-morning snack while enjoying the sights, sounds, and vibrancy of the city. Explore the Promenade de la Croisette, the iconic boulevard that acts as the backdrop for the film festival. Head to the Musée de la Castre to get a taste for the area’s cultural history.

Not far from Nice is the resort town of Antibes, a continuation of the stunning French Riviera. While the town might be known for its lush beaches, it’s also home to plenty of cultural and historical points of interest. The Picasso Museum in Antibes houses one of the largest collections of the artist’s work in the world. Don’t forget to go underground into the ancient Roman foundations of the city to visit the Absinthe Museum to learn about the mysterious green liqueur.

But the town is more than a mecca for popping champagne bottles. Art enthusiasts can spend time at the musée de l'Annonciade, a modern art museum housed in a chapel from the 1500s. The Gendarmerie Nationale functions as a cinema history museum, focusing on local films and actors.

Nice is well-connected by road to the rest of the region, and taking a drive along the coastline is often a gorgeous experience in itself. If you don’t have your own vehicle, plenty of rental options are available, including vintage cars that’ll take you back in time.
Taking a train from Nice may often be your fastest travel option for getting around the French Riviera, with transportation only taking 15 to 20 minutes for some destinations. Best of all, taking the train will help you avoid the traffic on the roads to and from Nice.
Traveling by bus from Nice may not always be the quickest transport option, but it’s often the least expensive. With so many destinations within a short distance, the added travel time won’t cut too much into your trip.
There can be no denying that a good guide is worth their weight in gold. With in-depth knowledge and stories, they bring a place to life. Choosing to see Monaco with a guide could enrich your experience and leave lasting memories about the little things that might have gone unnoticed.
The weather is mostly warm and sunny throughout the year, so bring your sunscreen and sunglasses. Having water on hand will make sure you stay hydrated. We also recommend bringing some swimwear with you, as you never know when you might want to go for a dip. A light sweater may come in handy if you decide to stay out in the evening to watch the sun go down.

I went on this tour, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour covered different areas, and the best part was Eze. It had amazing views, and you get very close to the scenery. We also went to Monte Carlo where I saw the yachts of the rich and famous. The driver was very knowledgeable, and knew the route very well. The tour is the best way to view these areas. I would definitely take this tour again.
