Full description
Begin your cross-border Niagara Falls with pick up directly from your hotel. The first half of your tour will take place in the USA. Then, start the day with a visit to one of the most iconic attractions in Niagara Falls - a boat ride on the Maid of the Mist. While on board, be treated to an amazing view, hear the thunderous roars of the rushing waterfalls and feel the mist on your skin - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a rain poncho for this boat ride. Also, have an opportunity to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower which extends out past the gorge and has an amazing panoramic viewpoint for all 3 Niagara Falls. After the boat ride, head over to Cave of the Winds where you will descend 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck”. If you venture all the way to the hurricane deck, you can expect to get wet and really feel the wind coming off the Bridal Veil Falls - since you’ll be only a few feet away! Next, your guide will take you to Goat Island and Luna Island for some amazing views of the Falls and some fun facts about the area before heading to Canada for the 2nd half of your tour. Your first stop on the Canadian side of the Falls will be a break for lunch at Skylon Tower where you will head up a glass elevator to the restaurant which provides an incredible birds-eye view of the Falls to gaze upon while you eat. After lunch, you can take the elevator up to the observation deck area to get a 360-degree view of Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. Once you get back on the ground, your guide will take you on a narrated driving tour of the area passing multiple points of interest including the Dufferin Islands, the International Control Dam, and Old Scow before heading to your next stop at Journey Behind the Falls. At Journey Behind the Falls, descend 125 feet (approximately 40m) to explore cave-like tunnels. This experience is a treat for the senses as you’ll be able to not only hear the falls but feel them as well. The tunnels lead to 2 observation decks, giving you the perfect photo opportunity. For the final portion of your tour, your guide will take you to view the Niagara Whirlpool for another incredible photo opportunity. At the end of your Niagara Falls tour, your guide will drop you off back at your hotel.

Very convenient! Included the top activities.

I would recommend this tour if you want to see the top Niagara Falls activities and don’t want to hassle with driving yourself or knowing where to park. The guides pick you up at a designated location in Canada in a van and escort you to each activity, and even walk you to the gate, help obtain the ticket, and are waiting for you when you’re finished. We parked in the US at Niagara Falls State Park and walked across the Rainbow Bridge to the Crowne Point hotel very near the bridge. Only took about 5 minutes to walk across. And because we finished our tour on the US side we did not have to cross the border again at the dnd of the day. If you have bags or pursed you can leave them in the van for the “wet” attractions. I’m giving the tour a 4 because we had to wait almost an hour for the van to pick us up because of a mix-up on their end. This tried our patience but I truly believe it is not a normal occurrence.

Guides were very informative. We paid for a tour including lunch and a tour on the American side. Guide forgot about our lunch unt I reminded him then it was a rush to get us there. After lunch our guide for the US seemed not to do with us. We just walked around. Because of that we were tired and did not want to climb the stairs at the Cave of the Winds. It was good but besides not waiting in most lines we could have done this on our own!
