I would not hestitate to recommend this tour, we booked for a Thursday and there was 6 of us. Our driver Bill was a wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much from him during the day. We visted one of their new partners, the Wine Lab at the end of the day and thought this visit could have been put in a bit earlier, Nathan was very informative and showed us his operation, he also has beers to sample. Lunch was a selection of gourmet meats, cheeses, bread, biscuits, fruit, banana bread etc all in a box to share between two with a complementry glass of wine. Overall a fantastic day.
This was a truly great day out. Our guide Julz was hilarious and got everyone talking and shared great knowledge with us about the wines and grape growing/wine making processes and tips on tasting. We had far more tastings than I would have expected, a great gourmet box (for lunch (catered for gluten free for me which was lovely) and we visited multiple venues with lovely, welcoming staff. Very good value for money. The group of us were great friends by the end and we were rather merry!
My friend Taylor and I had the best experience going with the tour group to Hunter valley best time ever!! Todd our tour guide was always going out of his to make sure the group was having fun. Todd is an A class photographer and even dropped us back at our Airbnb at Newcastle to save us getting another Uber another trip. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit the Hunter valley.
Great variety of wineries and driver was fantastic made for a very enjoyable day
