Full description
After putting on your own private audio headset, your walking tour begins across the street from Trinity Church, the gravesite of Alexander Hamilton, where you will be met by your first storytellers. They may be an aristocrat or a street urchin from the seventeen hundreds. As the past unfolds, you will see the history of the seaport coming to life in front of your eyes. Walk onto the 9/11 Memorial grounds hearing all that has taken place and all that the future holds for the city that is always reinventing itself. This 3-hour tour will provide a comprehensive insight into all that makes Lower Manhattan a must-visit destination Want to take a break? This tour offers two optional walk points allowing you to customize your day downtown. As the first of three segments comes to a close at Pier 15 you may want to spend time exploring the Seaport and its many retail shops and restaurants. When you are ready to continue, meet the next tour group at the same point of departure. Another opportunity is to walk to the Oculus near the 9/11 Memorial grounds. Here you may choose to enjoy the views from the observation deck at the One World Trade Center or spend time at the reflection pools, the footprints of the Twin Towers. Walk back on the tour and experience the third and final segment of the tour which will conclude in Battery Park.

Great tour but be sure to go on a cooler day. I went on a really hot day and was super uncomfortable. Our tour guide Julia was really knowledgeable, and told us lots of interesting facts!
