It was a wonderful tour, a must-do if you are visiting NYC and have done all of the touristy things. This is informative about the culture of the lower east side and our guide, Mickey, did a great job. Though she clarified that it is not a "food tour" but a "tasting tour," the food is plentiful and delicious and gives you a real feel for the neighborhoods, their history, and its inhabitants. You won't be disappointed!!!

Our tour guide, Alex, did an excellent job touring us around Chinatown and Little Italy. He not only explained historical significances but also interesting present-day tidbits that really added more context to the areas. He chose great places to eat snacks with a wide variety. It was also wonderful to hear about his experiences living in the city and his recommendations of restaurants and other areas to explore on our next visit.
