Our tour guide was clever, remembered people's names, was full of facts about history and the financial crisis. I thought it was worth it, especially since I had a tween with me who is keenly interested in the financial markets. It was a bit too long for the tween, but he learned new things and enjoyed walking around the area.

This tour nicely integrates an overview of the history of Wall Street by visiting specific sites, with the underlying causes of the financial crisis, its unfolding and aftermath. Having an insider describe what happened during the crisis makes all the difference. Unfortunately the casual visitor cannot enter the New York Stock Exchange due to security since 9/11. You also see the site of Lower Manhatten's first terrorist attack - a large home-made bomb delivered by horse and cart. As for the famous charging bull, if you want a photo without the crowds, go visit after an early breakfast. Our small group was so interested and interesting our guide stayed with us longer than the stipulated 2 hours. A tour well worth doing.

Our tour guide Tom was excellent! The tour was a small group of 10 people. Tom wore a microphone so we could hear everything he said. He kept it entertaining and interesting covering the history of Wall Street and the buildings in the financial district as well as explaining the financial crisis. It was primarily an outdoor walking tour but we did have an opportunity to go inside a few buildings and to sit occasionally on benches. The tour was paced well. I highly recommend this tour! In fact, I think I will use this company to book other tours in the future.
