Turkish Bath Experience in Cappadocia

4. Turkish Bath Experience in Cappadocia

The hamam is an atmospheric world all its own in the midst of Cappadocia. If you are stressed-out, tired, or just want to visit a place where time seems to have stood still for centuries, step inside for an authentic Turkish bath experience. Embrace traditional custom by wearing the waist-cloth and clogs provided to you. Relax in the hamam's large marble room heated by a continuous flow of hot dry air to build up a sweat. The combined intense heat and humidity encourages your pores to open and impurities to be extracted from your body. Then move to the sauna, before splashing with cold water and drying off at your own pace. Following this, your skin will be gently exfoliated with a Turkish scrub and you will receive a soothing soap massage. The scrub and bubble wash lasts for approximately fifteen minutes, while the whole bathing process of resting, perspiring, and washing takes about one to one-and-a-half hours, but there is never a time limit. After performing a full body wash and receiving your massage, retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation as you enjoy a cup of tea.

Everything was wonderful!! Highly recommended !! The Stoneland Travel company complied with everything and more. Transfers, flights, excursions. The guides were very attentive and knowledgeable about the topics. The hotel they booked for us, Kremer Cavern House, was in the middle of the Capadokya caves (meters from the center) and its owner was very friendly. They were in every detail. It was a pleasure to travel with people as responsible and kind as them. We spent very beautiful days!

Everything was perfectly planned. The timing was perfect too: neither jostling nor losing time. The size of the groups = +/- 15 people was great. The supervision by the managers was very professional and personalized. The visits (Presentation of products) were not too long and not too insistent. Small regret: our hotel was not in the neighborhood troglodype but rather in the center of Göereme

Wonderful experience!!!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, they supported us every step of the journey. We received instructions by messages from the office, quick replies for any query and the personal guide (Salim) helped my partner to surprise me on my birthday Wonderful experience and truly amazing service.

Very informative and fascinating tour

The two days are full ones but I would not have missed any of it. You learn about the history of the region for example why there were underground cities. You learn about the geology. And you see the crafts of the region. The balloon flight is breathtaking.

Perfectly organised, big days and a lot to see so pretty tiring, but would do it again.
