What people are saying about Negombo

The tour was very well organized and met expectations. Unfortunately the fish market was closed (Sunday), so we had to rely on our fishing luck, which also worked thanks to the careful guide. Unfortunately, the weather conditions were not so good that we could not fish in the deeper water, where larger fish would have been expected. The tour with the catamaran was also very interesting, but it would have been useful to point out that normal sun protection is not sufficient. You are completely in the sun all the time, so pack a cloth for protection or at least 50 sunscreen. On the final tour of the lagoon, there were still many animals and the mangroves to see, partly how the fishing families live. Overall recommended, especially Norman as a guide.

Nice morning sailing

Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable boat driver / guide. Lovely trip to lagoon. The Dutch Channel was contaminated by waste to great frustration for our guide who also told of a government turning a blind eye to the massive pollution and poverty that is. If you want to experience the contrast in Sri Lanka, then book a trip.

Very knowledgable and caring guide. You get a good understanding of the native life around the islands and mangroves of the lagoon plus a great description and presentation of local life and fishing.

Great experience

Norman was brilliant.. such a great guide.. made sure we were looked after the whole trip.. and his knowledge and enthuisim for the lagoon 8s brilliant to hear and see

Great tour of the wetlands and canals
