Full description
Enjoy a day at your own pace to explore one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades. Visit Amorgos, the most eastern of the Cycladic Islands, an island of particular wild beauty, genuine hospitality and rich cultural heritage. Take the boat from Naxos in the morning and after a delightful cruise in the Aegean you will arrive at the Katapola Port, one of the two ports of Amorgos. Then you will have approximately 5.5 hours of free time to explore the beautiful island of The Big Blue. It is a must to visit the Chora of Amorgos, considered by many as the most charming village in the Cyclades. In addition you can stay in Katapola or travel to Aigiali, where you can enjoy a meal of fresh local products by the sea. Don't forget to sip on the Amorgian “rakomelo”, local alcoholic beverage with honey. Walk up the hill to the essential site of the island, the monastery of Hozoviotissa, which was built in the 11th century, entirely on the slopes of a rock. This point offers you the most magnificent view to the Aegean Sea. If you are up for a little hiking, walk downhill to the small chapel of Agia Anna, which was built on a rock right by the sea. Then you can also swim in the spectacular deep blue waters of the pebbled Agia Anna beach. In the early evening, you will board the boat to be transported back to Naxos.

Not the most convenient transport (rather a small ship), but a very worth seeing, comparatively original island. About five hours on site for free allocation, six hours at sea

Amorgos is a must see but it is better to leave from Paros to avoid the time spent on the boat.
