What people are saying about Navajo Nation

Monument Valley Tribal Tours and their guide Marjory were wonderful!! We were picked up as promised and taken for a tour of the areas accessible to anyone. Then we continued on to a special presentation of yarn making and rug making. The expert answered all of our questions about her presentation and about Native American life. We then continued on to other formations in the rocks and were shown things that you had to see to believe.

Stunning natural beauty and personal, knowledgeable and friendly service by our guide, Sandrea, made this tour the highlight of our trip. She shared several beautiful Navajo songs with us and had clear live and respect for her culture and land, those who lived and now live there and those who visit. I highly recommend both the Monument Valley and the Mystery Valley tour.

Larry Team, our guide for the day, was excellent. He was polite, knowledgeable, humorous and answered all of our questions. He made the trip a better experience. I would highly reccommend the full day guided tour to get the most out of the journey through Monument Valley.

This was the greatest adventure taken by the four of us. Sandrea our tour guide knew everything about the valley and brought her long native American prospective to each stop.

This particular tour uses Navaho guides only. The tour was really nice and I’d recommend to other travelers. The music played at Big Hogan by the guide is very special.
