Great introduction to the area

Our guide was Guillermo and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Papallacta with him. This was our first excursion in Ecuador and he explained many things about the people, the government, the economy, the lifestyles, the language....all in very conversational tones. His English was very good and he even let me practice some Spanish with him. My Spanish is far worse than his English! We did not see any wildlife like I was hoping but overall it was a great introduction to the area. I felt safe and well attended.
