Fantastic day out! Our driver Franco was warm, friendly and made great conversation — always pointing out important areas on the drive there and sharing stories. Both Pompeii & Herculaneum were amazing sites to visit and definitely worth the time. Lunch was also great, the staff were super nice and the food tasted delicious. If you’re considering booking this tour, I highly recommend!

My husband and I wanted to have a live guide in Pompei, but the group had to be with 6 persons or more. NapoliCityVision arranged it so that different groups with Pompeii on the program were put together, so we had a VERY good live guide who effortlessly explained everything in English and Spanish. A guide was necessary, because Pompei is so big that you would get lost in a minute. The 3-course lunch in restaurant Vesuvio in Pompei was good. After the lunch the groups split up, some went to Vesuvius, some to Amalfi, and we still had 6 persons left for Herculaneum, so we had the same live guide in Herculaneum also. This site is smaller but different from Pompei and we enjoyed them both. So in 1 word: excellent organisation, pick-up and drop off on time, on route comments by the excellent accompanying guides Rosa and Serena. We're very happy and satisfied customers and can recommend this tour !!!

This is an excellent full day visit to 2 archeology sites. The day starts out with the tour company conveniently picking us up at our hotel. We were accompanied on the bus by a tour company employee, who provided us with constant information on the events of our day. She purchased the tickets to enter the Pompeii site and introduced us to a guide who provided a 90 minute tour of several locations in the excavation. The Pompeii site is very large and might take 1-2 weeks to see the entire facility. The guide gave us a good overview of the different areas and sites. The morning session concluded with an excellent lunch a short walk outside of the Pompeii excavation site. After lunch, the bus picked us up at the restaurant and we drove to the Herculean site. This site is smaller, but much more elaborate, as it was better preserved, A guide was provided for this 90 minute tour of this site. The bus was on site to take us back to our hotel after the tour.
