Full description
Be immersed in the history of the most iconic cafés in Naples. A highlight of the experience will be learning all about the history of coffee in Naples and Italy in general. You will visit splendid locations that have become a place of worship in the city for their unmistakable style. The first coffee spot and the first story is about Caffé Mexico and the Passalacqua family. Here you will learn how this company was born, and how it has conquered the palate of the Neapolitans. They use a unique toasting style, accompanied by blends whose secret is passed down from generation to generation. Here you will taste Naple's best espresso. The second coffee spot will be at Gran Caffé Gambrinus. This is a rather famous café, with a long history dating to the 1800s. It was a common meeting place for politicians, poets, artists, and intellects of all kinds. It's an unmissable stop for every visitor to the city. Here you will taste a specialty coffee. The last story will be about Gran Caffè La Caffettiera, a luxury café that is located in one of the most noble squares in Italy. Here you can appreciate the power of the coffee cult, which over the years has been handed down by the Campajola family. At the Gran Caffè La Caffettiera, coffee is available in a variety of forms, from coffee in cups to coffee cocktails. Here you will have one of their coffee cocktails, paired with a typical dessert.
