Full description
Start the tour with pick up from your hotel, the train station, or at the cruise port of Naples. Meet your guide and climb into a comfortable air-conditioned minibus to begin your adventure.
During the journey, listen as your guide explains the tour program and points out numerous wonderful sights on the drive up to Vesuvius National Park at 1000 meters above sea level.
When you arrive, set off to explore the park on foot, home to the only still-active volcano in continental Europe, the iconic Mount Vesuvius. Walk around the crater at 1200 meters and marvel at the breathtaking view of the charming Bay of Naples with Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Capri in the distance.
Finally, hop back into the minibus and return to Naples city center where you will be dropped off back at the Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi or at the cruise port and your tour concludes.
