Full description

Prepare to be taken aback at the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast on this 6-hour tour. After a late morning pickup in Naples, discover 30 miles of scenic road and small villages nestled in the rocks overlooking the shining blue waters of the bay of Salerno. During the road trip, the driver will stop 1 or 2 times at the nicest spots to let you enjoy the view and take pictures. Then, continue along the Amalfi coast as your driver tells you about the rich history of the region. In Amalfi, have some time on your own to stroll around or doing other available activities of your interest, starting from the outstanding Duomo. Enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant (drinks not included).

We were the only travelers and we had the right to a private driver of exceptional kindness. Aldo. he stopped at all corners so that we could take dream pictures. In addition, he explained the history and anecdotes to us. he shared with us his love for the Amalfine Coast. We will surely crack and come back to the region.

The trip turned out to be more like 8 hrs and worth every dollar spent. The driver, Carmela, was excellent and navigated the roads with precision. Our guide, Gennaro, was super informative, funny, cordial and made for a terrific experience including the last minute surprise of a boat ride of the Amalfi Coast. 20 euro and breathtaking. I will mention that our confirmation email stated one pick up place, and we were there 30 minutes early, to find that they said we should have been in a different location. It turned out fine and the driver picked us up where we were but this was the only delay.

Beautiful panoramas offered, nice walk

Question discovery of the Sorentine peninsula and the Amalfi coast, it's worth the detour. All this in a comfortable and well-appointed bus. The guide was very good, friendly, pleasant. One regret: too little time in Amalfi because of latecomers during photo or shopping breaks. The meal at Vesuvio not great either: any food for mass tourism.
