Ross created a great tour combining a few local attractions and some personal spots of his. The wine and cheese at the end was great. I wish we had more time in port

Very nice tour up to the Te Mata up and through Hastings and Napier. A lot of explanations, by Mike our driver, who also delivered 2 vocals (one in Maori language). Informative and entertaining. The feared late arrival at the shuttle was not a problem for Mike, who even dropped us off in time for a little tour of the city, so we had no time problem with the return to the ship.

Ross picked us up punctually at the aquarium and provided good preamble to the excursion. Visited Art Deco buildings, special old rural church, wineries (not Gor tastings) chocolate factory and special was the property on top of mountain with fabulous views. Then down to the vineyard where Ross provided cheese and cr@ckers and a glass of Sav Blanc. Great experience.

All in all a nice and interesting tour thanks to Mike, who also entertained us with his vocal performances. However, the tour took only 3.5 hours instead of 5.5 hours. Very sad.

Nice but I would have liked to spend more time in front of the art deco buildings than in the mission to taste wine.
