Full description
Arrive at David Sheldrick Park at 10:45 AM for a one-hour introductory presentation. Ask questions and get up close and personal with the beautiful, friendly elephants under the supervision of trained professionals.
As one of Africa’s oldest wildlife charities and a leading conservation organization, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife. Born from one family’s passion for Kenya and its wilderness, the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was established more than 40 years ago and is best known for its Orphans' Project, the first and most successful elephant orphan rescue and rehabilitation program in the world. The Sheldrick Trust is a pioneering conservation organization, dedicated to the protection of wildlife and the preservation of habitats in East Africa.
After spending time with these incredible animals, enjoy a visit to the local wood crafts store for a quick shopping stop before checking out a kazuri beads factory. Next, enjoy an optional lunch at any restaurant the driver will advise before being driven back to your lodging.
