Start your visit with the Dune Sea, the Krayt Dragon Ridge, and the location of the Lars Family Homestead exterior on the Chott El Jerid. The location was also used in Attack of the Clones and the final shot for Revenge of the Sith. Continue across Mides and travel to the 'Star Wars Canyon’ where 9 scenes were filmed including when the Jawas were attacked and the scenes with the Tusken Raiders. Head to Nefta and travel to the Mos Espa film site beautifully located amongst the Sahara dunes. Here you'll find the Pod-racing arena, the Mos Espa streets, Watto’s shop, and Sebulba’s Café. East of the set, you will find the Yardangs, where the Jedi fight between Qui-Gon and Darth Maul in Episode I was filmed. It was also the location of the Queen’s Royal Starship. Close by is Ong Jemel ‘the neck of the camel’ where Darth Maul arrives on Tatooine and releases the Sith Probes. After finding Anakin and Qui-Gon, Darth Maul is seen flying over the cliffs.

Get picked up at your hotel in Tozeur or Naftah by your driver and head to an old rally track where you can zip up and down through sand dunes and challenging tracks from the iconic Paris to Dakar rally.  Stop in Ong Jmal, home to Luke Skywalker, and climb to the top of a rock that looks like a camel squatting. From here, admire panoramic views of the entire desert and the Chott El Gharsa salt lake. Continue your adrenaline-pumping adventure to the set of the Star Wars village known as Mos Espa. Wander around this futuristic landscape and marvel at the otherworldly structures. Just before sunset, climb to the top of the dunes to admire the sunset over the galactic spaceport. Head back to your hotel in the evening, stopping for a delicious cup of mint tea at the Nefta basket on the way.

Day 1: After an early departure from your accommodation, embark on an oasis adventure with an overnight stay in a tent. The first stop will the Chebika Oasis, where you’ll visit an old village, stroll through the mountain landscapes, and discover hidden freshwater sources that spring from the side of the mountain.    Continue to Tamerza and pass by the massive waterfall before wandering through the magnificent canyons of Mides. In the afternoon, savor a local lunch at a homestay. Then, cross the famous salt lake of Chott Djerid towards the town of Douz, also known as the ‘gateway to the Sahara.’ With more than 5000 square kilometers, Chott Djerid is considered to be the largest chott in northern Africa. In Douz, visit the local market before heading to the sandy village of Sabria. Here, experience the dunes on camelback and watch the sunset change the color of the sand. Reach your desert camp before nightfall and enjoy an authentic desert night with a campfire and a demonstration of sand bread preparation under the stars. Savor dinner and enjoy an overnight stay in a tent. Day 2: Following breakfast, return to Douz, where you’ll have the possibility to join a quad or ULM ride that you can book onsite with local providers. After some leisure time, depart for Tozeur with a stop in Kebelli where you’ll enjoy a midday meal. Then, drive to Souk Lahad to visit the hot water castle and watch the cooling system for irrigation water that comes out of the ground to irrigate the palm groves of the region. Finally, visit the petrified sand dunes of Debebcha, a unique fossilized landscape shaped in the form of dunes before returning to your hotel in Tozeur, where your driver and guide bids you farewell.

After getting picked up from your hotel in Tozeur or Naftah, begin your journey to Chebika, a Berber village with a Roman past. Follow the walking path along the river which will lead you to a mountainous river source and climb up the small path between the rocks to admire the panorama that extends beyond Chott El-Gharsa. On the way back, cross the old village ruins, where only one old man still lives. Sitting in front of his house, he spends his time weaving containers, made of palm foliage, for tourists. Feel free to engage in conversation with him and learn more about daily life in Chebika from both him and your local guide.  From Chebika, head to Mides to admire the famous landscapes and sample the region's famous dates. Experience a feeling of refreshment and wellbeing as you wander through the picturesque village, through the oases and the canyons. Next, head to Tamerza, a beautiful oasis situated along a canyon that will take your breath away. Cool off from the intense Tunisian heat by taking a dip in the crystal-clear waters that cascade from the canyon. Finish your day in the mountains with a walk around the old ruined village, where only the mosque is restored. Get dropped off back at your hotel in the evening.

Day 1: Depart the island of Djerba via ferry and travel for about 20 minutes until you reach the mainland. Continue to Matmata and visit a Berber family who will open their doors for you to visit their house. Be welcomed with home-made bread, olive oil and honey, typical of Berber hospitality. Continue to Tozeur crossing the largest salt lake in northern Africa, the famous Chott Djerid. This salt lake covers an area of more than 5000 square kilometers and is known for its phenomenon of mirages. Enjoy a photo stop to capture the vastness of the area. Stop at the mountain oasis of Chebika. A popular destination for many filmmakers, Chebika has a unique charm with its ancient village, palm groves, and its source of water that springs from the side of the mountain. Take a walk for about 40 minutes with a local guide who will help you discover the village and learn of its stories. Travel to Tamerza, enjoy a hearty meal, and visit the famous waterfalls.  In the afternoon, get ready for adventure and adrenaline, as your driver will take you through the old Dakar Rally track, crossing the sand dunes and salt lake of Chott El Gharsa. Visit some of a filming location of the Star Wars original trilogy, the village of Mos Espa on Tattoine. Enjoy a colorful sunset before travelling to the village of Tozeur, where you will spend your first evening. Enjoy tea and dinner, before settling in at the four-star hotel for the night. Day 2: After breakfast, head to the old medina of Tozeur. With your guide, stroll in its alleys and discover its architectural and historical characteristics with some free time to enjoy the palm groves. Depart from Tozeur and travel towards Douz. Enjoy free time to visit its local market and lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, head towards Ksar Ghilane, an oasis where green palm trees grow amongst the dry desert offering a unique setting. Bask in the hot spring and enjoy a 1-hour camel ride in the dunes, if option selected. Head to your overnight camp and enjoy another spectacular desert sunset. Enjoy a typical Berber dinner and a free evening to relax and sleep under the stars. Day 3: Enjoy breakfast at the camp and then travel to the city of Tataouine. Visit the famous Berber village of Chenini, which you will explore with your guide for about 40 minutes. Discover the various landmarks of the village including the mosque, oil mill, granaries, and houses dug in the walls of the mountains. Enjoy some couscous for lunch in a local restaurant. After the meal, visit Ksar Hadada, a shooting location for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. After this, return to Djerba to complete your three-day excursion.
