The island of Delos is historically important and so deserves respect when you go. The guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and funny throughout the hour and a half she had us. Once you're allowed to do your own thing before going back to the boat make the most of the photo spots and information boards spread everywhere..really informative. There is no food or drink facilties so make sure you buy before you go..ALSO I got a 10% discount off the ticket price through joining the GYG app but before u accuse me of taking money away from the ppl we gave our guide a good tip for the experience...remember that!! now the only rough note to be aware of...SEA CONDITIONS...it was windy on land before the journey but once we got out of the harbour it got quite edgy..sitting upstairs helped a lot but ppl still got lashed about...the return journey was fun part..not for everyone tho..we sat dwnstairs inside and it was really rough with some ppl being sea sick..make sure you take proper shoes!

Amazing tour that I would highly recommend mainly thanks to our guide Athena-Christiana Loupou, who is an actual archaeologist and worked at Delos for 5 years. Her insight into the lives of the ancient Greeks living in Delos was fascinating. We managed to cover all the relevant areas in about 3 hours. It was definitely worth the trip and something to consider doing

We opted for the evening tour and booked the English guide (in Italian in the evening it cost 400 euros for two). we changed the tickets and we did not queue much, I would say not at all. Certainly the morning tour is busier. He gave us explanations on the materials, on the history and of the mosaics we only saw the house of Dionysus. Lions are beautiful even if ruined by time. After he left us three quarters of an hour free but the museum was closed. I have to is still worth seeing
