Our discovery dive with GoDive Mykonos was really a great experience. We both had ZERO diving/snorkeling experience but they took their time and explained everything really well. When we went to the water my wife got really anxious and started to panic. Jeane, our guide, was amazing. She told her to slow down, breathe deep, and took the time to calm her down and get her prepared. She also helped us while underwater to be safe and enjoy the experience. I highly recommend if you want to try scuba diving for a first time!

THIS WAS AN AMAXING EXPEIENCE! I HAVE GONE SCUBA DIVING BEFORE AND THIS WAS A FUN FIRST TIME ADVENTURE IN SHALLOW WATER. I WILL DEFINATELY RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO OTHERS, THE GUIDES WERE VERY FRIENDLY (AND PATIENT). IT TOOK ME A COUPLE OF TRIES TO GET COMFORTABLE BEFORE I COULD COMPLETELY SUBMERGE. THE ONLY REASON I AM NOT GIVING 5 STARTS FOR THE EXPEIENCE IS DUE TO HAVING TO WAIT FOR ANOTHE GROUP TO BE DONE WITH THEIR DEEP SEA DIVE BEFORE WE COULD BE TAKEN BACK AND THAT TOOK AN HOUR. SO WE WERE THERE FOR 3 HOURS AND I WOULD HAVE LOVED A CHANCE TO GO BACK IN THE WATER AGAIN DURING THAT TIME. MAYBE THIS EXPERENCE CAN BE EXTENDED TO A 3-HOUR TOUR, I KNOW I WOULD PAY THAT MONEY IF IT MEANT MORE TIME EXPLORING THE BEAUTIFUL SHALLOW REEFS OF MYKONOS!

The course itself was good-the location is remote and very expensive to get to by taxi. Our scheduled time was 2:30 and the voucher offered pick up at our hotel at 9:30 for 30 Euros, we did not want to spend an entire day at a beach so we made private arrangements for 70 euros. I had hoped to see fish and maybe coral up close while scubaing as I snorkel frequently in the Caribbean but there were no fish or sites of interest in the waters off this beach. There is a nice restaurant/bar behind the scuba hut.
