Bogotá: City Tour with Monserrate Hill

1. Bogotá: City Tour with Monserrate Hill

A staff member from the company will meet you at the hotel to take you on a tour around the historic center of the city. From here your first stop will be to Plaza de Bolivar, where you will walk along the streets and take a close look at the most important buildings of the city. You will explore buildings such as the National Capitol, which is the center of the country's legislative life; Casa de los Comuneros; Casa de Nariño, which is the Presidential house; and the Santa Clara Church Museum. The tour also includes a visit to the Gold Museum, which exhibits about 34,000 pieces of metalwork from various Hispanic cultures. The tour will then continue to the iconic symbol of Bogota, the Monserrate Hill, which rises up to 3,152 meters above sea level. Once having ascended to the top of the hill, you will visit the sanctuary where you will find the statue of the Lord of Miracles. This peak will provide you with the best platform to enjoy the views of Bogota. Important: On Monday Gold Museum is closed. Instead of this museum, visit Botero Museum

Unmissable Monserrate. You can have a complete view of Bogota from the hill while the guide tells you the history of all of Colombia for the last 500 years. Then in the city you see the cathedral and the colonial part, you feel in the last century, spectacular! And finally, the fifth by Simón Bolívar and Manuelita Saenz is like reliving the Netflix series. Great!!

My experience was very good. The truth is that I didn't have much time to go sightseeing in the city and I opted for the option of this tour. The guide and driver were excellent and it was a super personalized tour. I dont have nothing to complaint about.

Carlos was amazing. He really made the tour. He was very knowledgeable and personal. I had a great time learning about bogota, the history of Colombia, exploring la candelaria, and visiting the museums. Highly recommend Carlos as a guide.

Naty Ospina was very knowledgeable patience the vest personality for the job that shows her pride in her country and job. Very friendly and English was excellent. Perfect for the hob. Highly recommended.

The guide is amazing, professional in his field. Arrived exactly at the appointed time. I found a Russian translator for me. I recommend to everyone!
