Full description
Visit the Rodin Museum with a single ticket that gives access to the permanent collections shown in the Hôtel Biron, as well as the Sculpture Garden and the current temporary exhibition.  The new museum layout is designed to focus on the journey of Rodin’s work. Rather than presenting a “new Rodin,” the museum aims to show the evolution of the artist's technique and style. You will see many pieces that have never been shown before in an exhibit, as well as his more famous works for a fully comprehensive view of Rodin’s pieces.  The aim of the museum is to offer the visitor an immersive experience in the world of his sculpture, and of sculpture in general. The layout of each floor of the new museum is designed as a loop, and is accessible to people with reduced mobility. After seeing the works inside, head out to the sculpture garden. Stretching over three hectares, the grounds are divided into a rose garden and a large ornamental garden. There is also a terrace and a relaxation area for a moment of quiet contemplation.

We had pre-booked tickets bought the day before online. The Museum is easy to negotiate with two floors of wonderful work by Rodin, some by his muse, antique artefacts and a few paintings by famous Artists who were friends. Out side the Museum, definitely a place not to be missed, his sculptures are shown to absolute perfection in a very beautiful garden and others in natural settings in amongst trees.

I found finding the entrance difficult and walked all the way around the building, which I could have done without! However it was worth it. The sculptures were fabulous and there was useful information on many of them in English. Wish Id had the option to book audio on line as Id have used this. Great museum and doing the pre-booking really saved time queueing.

The Guide Your Guide interface for a visit to the Musée d'Orsay indicated that teenagers entered only with their identity card, but it was necessary to scan the MO site and then book teenage tickets on their site. All of this contradicted the information online. In addition, no help from the reception staff who turned us away without providing any help. Nevertheless, visits to the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée Rodin are great outings?
