  • São Paulo: Best Kept Secrets Small Group Walking Tour

    1. São Paulo: Best Kept Secrets Small Group Walking Tour

Meet your group at the meeting point, and begin your 3-hour tour inside São Paulo Cathedral, an impressive Neo-Gothic temple that can take up to 5,000 people at the same time. Then, see the famous Ground Zero, the geographical center of the city with a lot of curious stories about it. Wander through alleys and narrow streets with a lot of different architecture styles. From classical to modernist, from colonial to art-deco. Dive into the countless gallerias full of old-fashioned shops and even thematic shops, such as the worldwide famous Rock N' Roll Galeria in the heart of São Paulo. Finally, be mesmerized by the amazing 360-degree view from the most iconic building in Brazil, the great Copan designed by Oscar Niemeyer.

I love traveling and seeing what each city offers and this walking tour took me to a place that wasn't pretty, but was very real- the homeless population. This was my first stop and the rest of the tour doesn't provide such a shot to the gut, but I'm glad I saw this side of life just outside the Cathedral where two very different worlds are next to each other. My guide, Andre, was exceptional. He is extremely knowledgeable about Sao Paulo, its history and its newness, the architecture of the past and the modern. He was patient as I asked so many questions and his answers were thorough. Getting to know Old Sao Paulo was an amazing experience! I highly recommend this tour with Andre. It will be time well spent.

Excellent. I got to know a lot of downtown São Paulo, even places I hadn’t heard of before while looking online for destinations.
