The Orak Island Boat Tour departs from Halikarnas harbor at 11:00 AM, and makes its first stop at Red Bay, where you’ll be able to enjoy a short swim. Continue to Orak Island, and one of the most beautiful bays in the region. You’ll have about 2 hours to swim in the crystal clear waters and enjoy the white sand beach. After leaving Orak Bay, there will be 2-3 additional stops at different bays, where you’ll also be able to swim and snorkel. The exact itinerary will depend on sea conditions the day of your boat tour. You can be sure of stopping at a number of beautiful sheltered bays on the Bodrum peninsula. Inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1988, Pamukkale attracts some 2 million visitors every year. Get a view of the terraces from the hills on the opposite side of the valley in the town of Denizli. Then, go to the ruins of the ancient Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis, built on top of the “Cotton Castles” in the 2nd century BC. See the remains of the Roman amphitheater, and visit the former Turkish Bath, now converted into an archaeological museum. Discover where Cleopatra used to swim, and the monumental tomb of the Christian apostle St. Philippe. Marvel at the Necropolis of Anatolia, filled with sarcophagi, most notably that of Marcus Aurelius Ammianos.

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel and heads to the meeting point where you’ll be briefed on the day’s itinerary. From here, set out towards the ancient city of Tlos, one of the region's oldest settlements dating back to 2000 BC. Explore the array of fascinating ruins, including city walls, tombs, theaters, stadiums, baths, and more, preserved from the Lycian, Greek, Roman, and Ottoman eras. Climb through the ruins to reach the top of the hill, where you are rewarded with epic views of Tlos and the surrounding landscape. First Dive in the Morning: Once the theoretical part is over, you will get to test what you learned in the water. You will get to dive in groups of 5-6 people, under the supervision of our professional diving team. This firs dive lasts for about 20 minutes, during which you will get more comfortable with your equipment and get a better sense of your surroundings and your underwater abilities. Lunch Break: After our first dive, we will have a light and tasty lunch. Lunch on this tour is light and refreshing, because we need to maintain a certain dynamic after your lunch during your second dive. Second Dive: Once we find the perfect diving spot, we will take another break. During the second stop, you will get to dive a little deeper, but diving up to 6 meters deep is the limit for novice divers. Those with certificates will be able to dive in accordance with their expertise. Our skilled divers will be with you during this exciting dive as well, because your safety is our primary concern. You will be more relaxed, as you already took one dive before this one, so you will get a chance to explore some underwater caves, colorful seafloor, diving by the reefs and even feed the exotic fish that you come across during your dive. This dive will last for twenty minutes as well. Return to Marmaris: We will enter the Marmaris harbor by 5pm. Our driver will then pick you up and take you bac to your hotel. Transfers from and back to the hotel are included in the tour price.
