If you happen to get Scott for your guide you will not be disappointed. He filled us in on all the hot spots in Charleston. He was amazing. The next guide just pretty much dropped us off and picked us up. Scott made the trip sooo awesome. We enjoyed the Gullah lady the most. Don’t miss that part.

The oak trees are amazing and worth the trip because you are not going to see them anywhere else. The performance by Jackie the Gullah was also amazing and informative. If you take the tour definitely see it. And the tractor ride because it gives you an overview of the plantation and it’s history. The food in the snack bar is pretty good too, especially the pulled pork.

Loved the plantation land and the slave homes along with the history. The home itself was somewhat disappointing as you do not have access to much of the home. You can only view 3 rooms so not like a typical historical home tour. Go for the experience of the overall plantation however as it was amazing
