  • Please note, Mt. Koya is at a high elevation so tends to be cold, please wear warm clothes with rain gear in case of inclement weather.
  • Lunch will be prefixed Shojin Ryori, (vegetarian food for monks).

Koyasan vaut définitivement le détour. C’est un lieu profondément spirituel. Hors de commun. Ceci dit, pour pouvoir profiter du déjeuner, il convient de récupérer les billets la veille ou au plus tard à 9h, sinon c’est très juste. Il faut être au temple pour le déjeuner à 12h et le trajet de Namba Station au Temple dure environ 2h si vous prenez le train à 10h pour lequel il faut payer des places réservées en plus et cca 2h30 si vous prenez les trains sans réservation (il faut changer à Hashimoto). Attention aussi au point de rendez-vous. Nos billets n’étaient pas prêts au Information Center. On a du attendre qu’un agent de l’agence nippone nous les apporte. Globalement, c’était une très belle expérience.
