  • From Mostar: Herzegovina Cities & Waterfall Day Tour

    1. From Mostar: Herzegovina Cities & Waterfall Day Tour

Visit the most interesting sites in Herzegovina in just one day: take a 7-hour trip to 3 important cities in the region and visit a beautiful waterfall. After pickup at around 9:00 AM in Mostar, you’ll take a short 20-minute drive to Blagaj. Once there, take a 50-minute guided tour to discover the city and learn about the mystical lives of the whirling dervishes that used to live here. Then, take some free time to explore the area and walk to the source of the Buna river, which offers beautiful views of this whole site. Next, you’ll head to Žitomislići, also only a 20-minute car ride away. Meet Christian Orthodox monks and hear about how Bosnia and Herzegovina became the melting pot of many different religions. Take some more free time to explore the city before heading to your third city.   In Počitelj, you’ll get a detailed historical introduction to the city from your guide. Then, t...

Great service from iTravel House. They even picked us up at the train station in Mostar. The train from Sarajevo arrives at 9.05 am (but plan on 9.15-9.30). Our guide spoke clearly and had lots of information about the history of Bosnia & Herzegovina. The sites were all interesting in their own right, though we found Blagaj and Kravica to be the most beautiful. There is quite a price discrepancy booking over Get Your Guide vs. booking on location - higher over Get Your Guide - and then there is an additional 7.5 Euro or 15 Mark fee for entries. It’s still a good deal, but Get Your Guide should work on price harmony. Would definitely recommend this trip and agency. iTravel House also offers a free walking tour of Mostar in the evening.

  • Authentic Day Trip Mostar - Kravice -Medjugorje From Split

    3. Authentic Day Trip Mostar - Kravice -Medjugorje From Split

First, discover the world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) - Mostar's indisputable visual focus. Its pale stone arch magnificently throws back the golden glow of sunset or the tasteful night-time floodlighting. Next, the Trebižat river is the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride in a traditional wooden boat. You'll see nature's best from the banks, hear about the old customs and traditions while having a drink. The pristine aquafer waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout & crabs and during the summer months you're more than welcome to go for a swim. After the ride a local lunch is included with loads of homemade delicacies. Your guide and their family would then love to host you on a hands-on culinary tour which starts in the fields, where you pick the organically grown crops and become part of the cooking experience. Menus vary from traditional pies where you roll your...

Ante was extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to set up the tour for us on very short notice. The destinations are beautiful, and the highlight of the day is the farm-to-table meal, which we enjoyed at Ante's family farm. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit Mostar and the other areas - or anywhere else that Ante serves.

Very good experience, 100% recommended. I went on the tour today, low season, so I was the only one on a “private tour”. The guide, Miran, a genius! He told me about the history of BH, of Mostar, his experience, the current situation in the country; in addition to contextualizing each place we visit with its history and "reason for being". It's all in English, but if I didn't understand something, he explained it to me again! Very satisfied with the experience! Congratulations!!!!

It was great experience! Maybe weather was not so good (some rain) but places where really interesting and beautiful. It is absolutely worth to choose this tour!

The tour is worth it. Dario was a great guide. Full of knowledge and he managed to make the tour entertainment even though it was plenty of history.

the best tour I have even had because the others were very nice

Excellent experience. Very complete. Our guide knows a lot.
