From Dubrovnik: Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls Day Tour
- Duration: 11 hours
From the meeting point in Dubrovnik, you'll make your way to Mostar, a culturally and ethnically diverse city, famous for its historic UNESCO-protected Old Bridge (Stari Most) over the Neretva River. During your 3-hour visit to Mostar, you will enjoy a walking tour of the old city and have free time to relax and explore on your own. After taking the time to discover Mostar and sip some traditional Turkish coffee, you will head to Kravice Waterfalls on the Trebižat River. Enjoy a refreshing swim in its waters before heading back to Dubrovnik.
It was a wonderful day but we had to pick up several people along the route. I did not like the fact that it was a large bus. The day before we went in a van to Bosnia and was better to get around and less hassle at the border because of more people to process. I would not take a large bus again. Mosel was beautiful
The idyllic green oasis of the Neretva River canyon makes this one of the most beautiful spots in Europe, the perfect place to emerge yourself in sunny Herzegovina and feel the Mediterranean air the way Bosnians do. This full-day excursion will take you first to Mostar, world famous for its Old Bridge, its alleys and shops bathed with sunshine, scents and the Neretva river. Enjoy its special architecture and unique charm. Move on from Mostar to see Blagaj, a small Ottoman medieval town in Herzegovina, home to stunning nature and the imposing spring of river Buna, the biggest well of water in the country. Discover the Tekki, one of the sacred places for all Muslims in Bosnia. Finish off your tour with a visit to Pocitelj, the caretaker of this region and a pearl of Herzegovina.
First, discover the world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) - Mostar's indisputable visual focus. Its pale stone arch magnificently throws back the golden glow of sunset or the tasteful night-time floodlighting. Next, the Trebižat river is the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride in a traditional wooden boat. You'll see nature's best from the banks, hear about the old customs and traditions while having a drink. The pristine aquafer waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout & crabs and during the summer months you're more than welcome to go for a swim. After the ride a local lunch is included with loads of homemade delicacies. Your guide and their family would then love to host you on a hands-on culinary tour which starts in the fields, where you pick the organically grown crops and become part of the cooking experience. Menus vary from traditional pies where you roll your...
Ante was extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to set up the tour for us on very short notice. The destinations are beautiful, and the highlight of the day is the farm-to-table meal, which we enjoyed at Ante's family farm. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to visit Mostar and the other areas - or anywhere else that Ante serves.

Mostar is beautiful old city and I liked it so much. It's like we traveled into time. Kravica waterfalls are really nice and unlike krka waterfalls, it is possible to swim there. The tour was very well organized in a minibus with a limited number of participants. The two guides and the local guide gave us very interesting information. I highly recommend this tour.
The trip was wonderful, I would definitely return. Even with the weather we could enjoy a beautiful landscape, Daniel was a great help to know in detail the history of where we were, in addition to giving us several tips to enjoy the day to the fullest :)
There was only one participant from my country and the language was not native, but I enjoyed it. I caused trouble to people from other countries at the border, but I am grateful that they were kind to me despite the times.
A good driver guiding us to and in Mostar. A Good local guide in Mostar. Mostar itself has no feeling of local living. I saw a lot of souvenir shops only.
Great tour to do from Dubrovnik. Very helpful guide. On the day, the only inconvenient thing was the rain.
