The starting point is usually in front of Info Bosnia Tourist Information Center located on main pedestrian street Ferhadija, just next to "Sarajevo Meeting of Cultures", but can be arranged from elsewhere, if requested. The first stop of the day is a short visit to Konjic, a unique, prehistorically inhabited place from which Herzegovina originates. It is famous for its 17th century 6-arch Old Bridge and a perfect introduction to the emerald-green Neretva river. Your journey then continues towards a restaurant famous for its homemade Pita (pie) that will satisfy your taste!  With a full stomach, continue towards the beautiful medieval and Ottoman stone-constructed fortified village Počitelj. On your arrival, take an easy hike towards the Kula, a silo-shaped fort overlooking the village from the top of the hill. It was used to house watchmen and military as a guard against possible intrusions from the Neretva valley. After a short hike, continue your way to Blagaj. This city is situated at the source of the Buna river, Europe’s most powerful, clean and drinkable river spring. After Pocitelj enjoy lunch at the banks of river Buna just a few kilometers away from Blagaj. Under the shade of trees, listening to the sound of the river, enjoy a local trout with the traditional desert "smokvara". After a nice meal, it is time to visit the best part of your journey, the city of Mostar. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge. The historic part of Mostar is a result of interaction between the natural phenomena and human creativity throughout a long historical period. The architecture here presents a symbol of tolerance: a shared life of Muslims, Christians, and Jews. Focus at Mostar’s Old Bridge, Old Bazaar, and Old Town, and hear stories of Mostar’s uniqueness and cosmopolitan heritage. After Mostar it is time to say goodbye to Herzegovina. Head back to your accommodation in Sarajevo in just over 2 hours.

The first stop on your tour will be the city of Konjic, one of the oldest towns in the country with archaeological traces dating back 4,000 years. The written documents date way back from 14th century, but the appearance of the town as it stands today started to form once the Ottomans came onto the scene. Utilizing a well-maintained road, you will then weave through a landscape of beautiful Bosnian canyons, mountains, lakes, and historic towns to reach Sarajevo. Your second stop is the most famous museum: the Tunnel of Hope. There you will learn about the position of the museum and its famous mark in front of the entrance named "Sarajevo Rose". After seeing a short movie, a 1-hour long presentation starts which will explain the fall of Yugoslavia, the war in Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the creation and importance of the tunnel.  Following the tunnel, you'll advance towards the 1984 Olympics mountain of Trebević. It is the closest mountain to the center of Sarajevo and was part of the front line during the siege of Sarajevo. At this site you will have the opportunity to see and walk on the former bobsleigh and luge track, experiencing the most beautiful panoramic views of Sarajevo which unfortunately were also the main positions of the enemy army.   Just under the Trebevic Mountain lies the second-largest Jewish cemetery in Europe. The cemetery contains unique-shaped tombstones that can only be seen in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is believed their shape is influenced by medieval Bosnian tombstones named "Stecak". Once finished with the Jewish Cemetery, you will head to Sarajevo Old Town for a traditional Bosnian lunch. Following lunch the best way to explore the city is a walking tour. Your tour guide will accentuate to you a combination of Oriental, European, and Yugoslav influences, which create uniqueness and beauty seen nowhere else but Sarajevo. You'll see Muslim, Catholic Christian, Orthodox Christian, and Jewish architecture just a few minutes away from each other, whilst listening to Muslim calls to prayer at the same time as the sound of bells from nearby churches. You'll learn about the assassination that triggered World War I, as well as how Muslims and Jews protected each other through the different wars. At the conclusion of your scenic and education experience, it will be time to return to Mostar.

Tekke or Dervish monastery is the unique sacral-residential example of Islamic architecture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and was built with elements of Ottoman architecture and Mediterranean influence. One of the nicest parts of your journey will be spent on the bank of River Buna, just a few kilometers away from Blagaj. You will dine under the shade while listening to the sound of the river, and it is recommended to try a local trout followed by the traditional desert called “smokvara”. Following your nice meal, it will be time for the highlight of your journey, the city of Mostar. Drive for 2 hours to reach Mostar. The world-famous Stari Most (Old Bridge) is Mostar's indisputable visual focus. Its pale stone arch magnificently throws back the golden glow of the sunset or the tasteful night-time floodlighting. The bridge's swooping stone arch was originally built between 1557 and 1566 on the orders of Suleyman the Magnificent. Situated on the Neretva River and the fifth-largest city in the country, Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva in medieval times. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's most visited landmarks, and is considered an exemplary piece of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Wonder at the sites and take in the rich cultural history of this city.  Visit a family home in the village of Hardomilje and experience a way of life which has changed very little over the generations and is based on organically grown food and homemade specialties. The Trebižat river is the perfect setting for a relaxing boat ride in a traditional wooden boat. You’ll see nature’s best from the banks, and hear about the old customs and traditions while having a drink. The pristine waters of the Trebizat River are home to brown trout and crabs and during the summer months, you’re more than welcome to go for a swim. After the boat ride, a local lunch is included with loads of homemade delicacies. After lunch, take a transfer to Dubrovnik.

Explore the town and see the famous Stone Bridge built in the 17th century. Next, make your way to the famous town of Mostar. Wander down the picturesque cobblestone streets, arriving at the spectacular Old Bridge which crosses the Neretva River, and allows for fantastic photo opportunities. Continue the journey with a short drive to the town of Blagaj, which has a history dating back to the Romans. See the tekke, a beautiful former whirling dervish house and historic Sufi monastery, built on the side of a river spring.  After Blagaj, enter the beautiful medieval Ottoman stone-constructed village of Počitelj. Visit the silo-shaped fort overlooking the village from the top of the hill, and enjoy the fantastic views. Finally, make the last stop is outstanding natural attraction of the Kravica Falls. Visit the location where the Trebižat River suddenly becomes a broad 26-28 meter-high cascade falling into an emerald pool. This incredibly popular location is a perfect spot for taking a refreshing swim in beautiful surroundings. Finally, be transferred to Dubrovnik, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Start with pickup from your hotel in Dubrovnik and travel by luxury, air-conditioned vehicle to Mostar. Throughout the journey, learn about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina from your experienced guide.  Cross the border and travel along a quiet stretch of road towards the village of Zavala. Stop to take some photos of the beautiful landscape of the region. Enjoy a short break in the village of Ravno at an old train station. Then, continue towards the small town of Stolac, largely destroyed during the war in the 1990s, which was shared between Bosniaks and Croatians.  Arrive in Mostar and embark on a 2-hour walking tour of the city. See the highlights of Mostar, including its famous Old Bridge. Discover mosques, cobbled streets, and bazaars. Enjoy some time for shopping at local craft shops. You can also enjoy some traditional cuisine at a local restaurant, at your own expense. Then, before returning to Dubrovnik, visit the nearby medieval town of Počitelj, where you will have a 30-minute break. From Počitelj, return to Dubrovnik by the same route you took earlier in the day, arriving back just after sunset.
