Full description
Experience the best bike-friendly city in North America as you explore Montreal on two wheels. With a large network of bike paths, Montreal was meant to be discovered by bicycle. Take advantage of a 3- or 4-hour bike tour with the option to upgrade to an electric bike. Begin your adventure at the bike shop located in historic Old Montreal. After being equipped and briefed on safety, set off under the guidance of your experienced guide. Discover the city’s well-known and lesser-known sights as you ride through its various neighborhoods, main attractions, and more unusual locations. See Old-Port, Latin Quarter, La Fontaine Park, the Plateau, the entrance to Mont-Royal Park, McGill University campus, the business district, and Old Montreal. On the 4-hour tour, you will also ride through Montreal’s Mile End neighborhood. Enjoy a gourmet stop along the way at Saint-Viateur Bagel to taste Montreal’s famous bagels. Once the tour ends, relax and enjoy a complimentary drink (with or without alcohol) at an Old Montreal resto-pub located just next door. Mike was an excellent guide and we learned so much about the fascinating city of Montreal during this ride. The things we learned about the city and its people inspired hours of conversation for the rest of the day. Biking is the perfect way to enjoy the beautiful details of Montreal’s street art, architecture, and landscape. The fact that you can keep the bike all day after the tour is a wonderful added benefit as there is more to see and do than this wonderful 4-hour tour can even cover. People of all cycling abilities will find the pace comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great experience! Montreal is a very bike friendly city. That, combined with an excellent, experienced guide (Mike) made for a very safe and enjoyable tour. Sometimes it is hard to find something that everyone enjoys. This was perfect! We did the Architecture and Infrastructure tour. We upgraded to EBikes as our group had different fitness levels and were very glad we did, as it was a hot, humid day. That being said, Mike made sure we had plenty rest stops and always had us standing in shady spots while he told us all about his beautiful and fascinating city. Great service also from Ca Roule, the local provider. They were able to work with us to switch our tour to a day where there were enough ebikes available for our group. The equipment was high standard, as was their service. They took our bikes back into the store while we enjoyed lunch, after the tour and had them fully charged and ready to go for our afternoon adventures.

Mike is a fantastic guide who loves his city and that carries over to the guests. The tour takes you to all major attractions and Mike gives tips for further exploration. There are many drinking and toilet breaks. I recommend the early tour so that you can go on a bike tour in the afternoon on your own. The McAuslan Brewery recommendation was perfect at the end of the day. Montreal is really bike friendly.
