Districts like Montmartre are places where the pleasure of strolling comes with the joy to rediscover the location of our favorite movies. By showing you pictures and film clips on a tablet, your guide will bring the world of cinema to life. As you explore you will learn about the history of Paris, discover hidden places and maybe find an unknown French or American movie to watch. Amelie from Montmartre will be the main movie focused on during the tour. Your tour will start with one of the films locations at Lamarck-Caulaincourt. Then you will slowly go up the hill passing through the most emblematic cabaret of Montmartre, the Sacré-Coeur and the square of Tertre. You will see the highlights of the hill but also the quiet places where movies like An American in Paris, Paris Blues or Ratatouille but also french movies were shot or imagined.
