What people are saying about Monterey

Our guide, Lika, was very friendly and made our tour interesting with lots of details about the places we visited. She greeted us with a morning pastry sample from a local bakery as we waited for our group to assemble. We proceeded to visit 4 restaurants, each unique and lively, and ready for us. The food samples included drinks of our choice (wine and beer). We sampled fish tacos, meatloaf with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, curried potatoes, and lobster ravioli. Our last stop was an ice cream store featuring its original "Bees' Knees" flavor. There we were even treated to a tour of their production room! Everything was delicious!! I appreciated how Lika did not rush us and we had time to enjoy our food and drinks as well as getting to know our other tour members. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with discovery.

The Monterey Food Tour was truly wonderful - relaxed but filled with information and LOTS of amazing food! Each stop was unique; our very helpful tour guide provided plenty of background before we arrived, so everyone knew about the venue's history and specialties. Perfect Monterey weather, too! We were especially pleased since the whole tour area was a part of Monterey we had never visited before - we will definitely be back again!

It was worth the money I spent. Jacob was the guide/coach driver and was very nice and very experienced. I enjoy the small group. Then we joined the larger group in the last 3 days. Robert too was very good. It was best experienced than explained. Very hectic, wake up early and finished late some days so as to cover many places. You will enjoy the adventure

Guide extremely knowledgeable. Wine tastings were very good. I highly recommend for anyone coming to Monterey. Was a great value.

Evan was absolutely fantastic, very nice, patient, and informative. I would recommend for beginners and experts a like
