On this boat ride after the sun goes down your boat captain and guide will tell you the story of the lagoon and why it glows. As your boat approaches the center of the lagoon, your captain will tell you about the folklore around swimming in the lagoon. Then you’ll have a chance to slip into the lagoon, which is less than 5 feet deep. As you swim, the water around you will begin to glow. Watch as your hands begin to sparkle as if covered in glitter. Michael was our driver, and he gave us a phenomenal tour as we drove to the lagoon. It was amazing. The colors were super vibrant and we got some great photos! We felt like wizards as we swam around the glowing lagoon.

Let's start at the beginning. Transfer time was given at 5.50 p.m. The bus was already there at 17.35 and was stressful. Then about 20 minutes drive to the lagoon where you had to wait an hour until it starts. Plenty of time to buy the overpriced souvenirs or to eat and drink. Again the prices are quite high. Then about 45 minutes on the boat. We saved ourselves from swimming. Ok, the play of colors when moving was nice but not spectacular. Back at the attachment point the opportunity to buy really expensive photos. The second star is for the fire-eater. This actually did a nice show. All in all a classic tourist rip off
