Full-Day Small Group Tour to Monaco and Eze

1. Full-Day Small Group Tour to Monaco and Eze

Enjoy a full-day guided tour of Monaco with a choice of departure locations. Your first stop will be in the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites on the French Riviera. Dating from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. Take to the cobbled streets and head to the exotic garden and the castle ruins, where you’ll have amazing views, from an altitude of 427 meters. Visit the famous Fragonard perfume factory in the village for a guided tour. Continue on to the village of La Turbie, known as the Terrace of Monaco owing to the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument, the Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, and built in 7 B.C. on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez (Nice). Next you’ll arrive in the Principality of Monaco. Spend the afternoon in the Old Town, overlooking the harbor and the sea from a height of 60 meters. See the changing of the guard at the Prince's Palace at 11:55. Visit the Cathedral, built in neo-Roman style in 1875, entirely of white stones from La Turbie. Its construction was completed in November 1903. The Monaco princes and Princesse Grace de Monaco were laid to rest in the Cathedral. You can enjoy optional visits to the Prince Palace and the Oceanographic Museum, or take a short Monaco tour on the little train (not included in the tour price). Head to Monte Carlo following the famous Grand Prix track of Formula 1. See the stunning Casino de Monte-Carlo and the Hôtel de Paris, which features all the charm of the great hotels of the 19th century.

Our day trip to Eze and Monaco began on time and we had a smaller group of only 4 travelers which was nice to have more space in the minivan. We began our trip to the Fragonard perfumery in Eze and since we had already visited the day prior on another tour in Grasse, our guide was very accommodating to our request to start our exploration of Eze earlier. The guide dropped off the other party at the perfumery and gave us a lift to the starting point to explore Eze. Eze was just wonderful to see and experience. We had an ample time of 1.5 hr to explore the place, buy a few jams from the Essence of Eze (highly recommend), and get great photos. It is a small village commune so you can see everything by foot in less than 2 hours. Monaco was incredible. We saw the changing of guards, Oceanography museum (separate tix cost), botanical gardens, did a lap around the Grand Prix race track, and visited Monte Carlo. Everything was amazing. Great tour guide as well!

It was a great drive from Nice via Eze to Monaco. Thanks to Ben and Sabine, we all had a lot of fun. We would book it again. The time available in Eze and Monaco was quite short, it could have been a little longer, but we're still super satisfied.

This trip with Irene was awesome. Unfortunately, since we only speak German, Irene was more than convenient for us. She guided us through an informative drive to Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo. An unforgettable ride.

It was a leisurely tour conducted very well and our guide was super good. It’s great value for money.

Diverse tour, perfect guide, friendly and very competent
