Full description

Travel to the Maison Veuve Ambal, a family-owned winery located in Montagny-lès-Beaune , on a 1.5-hour winery tour and tasting. The maison was established in the heart of Burgundy more than a century ago and has been making quality wines since 1898. Upon arrival you will be taken on a guided walk through the aging cellars and workshops. See the robots and automatons that make the sparkling wine and learn more about the process. Then continue to the Veuve Ambal shop, where you will have a guided tasting of 3 Crémant de Bourgogne drinks. Afterward, spend time browsing the shop and discussing your new wine knowledge. Visits start at: 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 02:30 PM, 03:30 PM, 04:30 PM (+ 05:30 PM from 1st April to 30th September)

Enjoyed it and tasting afterwards. Would had been useful on website to say what times the tours are during the day and also to remind people when booking because of weekend the factory won’t be in operation,you sometimes forget obvious when booking tours. We had a good time and brought lots of fizzy to take home.

Visite très intéressante, pas de guide"physique" uniquement un audio guide, mais parcours bien renseigné. Surprise de l'automatisation, mais je plein certains employés qui effectuent les mêmes gestes 8h durant. Cela fait penser au flm "Les temps modernes" de Charlie Chaplin. Pour la dégustation, la très sympathique employée n'hésite pas à déboucher les bouteilles de ce qui vous intéresse.

Een prachtig bedrijf, maar het was heel jammer dat ze niet ‘in bedrijf’ was t/m 23 augustus! Dat betekent dus dat je wel alles zag maar dat er geen productieproces was. Je keek naar een stilleven. Dat maakt zo’n rondleiding hoe interessant, mooi en duidelijk (Nederlandse audiotour) die ook was, beduidend minder leuk. De proeverij was prima met goede uitleg van de dame. We hebben heerlijke flessen Crémand de Bourgogne meegenomen!
