I booked a group tour on my first full day in Malaga so that I could get my bearings in the city (it was my first visit). Turns out I was the only one on the tour, and I was very happy with the content, destinations, and the stories (I'm Irish, and we like our colourful stories :) ). The guide, Tania, did a great job and kept it interesting throughout. We had chats about Picasso and art, the city and a whole host of other things. We even got some traditional cake from Malaga. It as clear that she liked her work and was interested in the sharing her love of the city throughout the tour. One of the best tours I've been on. Thanks Tania! :)

Our guide, Tania, had a wealth of knowledge about the Alcazaba and the history of Malaga and AL Andaluz in general. Although the Alcazaba is not large or intact like the Moorish palaces of Seville or Granada, it was worth the visit and also having a guide. The tour included the Teatro Romano and Cathedral, both of which can be viewed on their own, but worth the modest sum of having a guide. Pace was perfect and after 3 hours, you are in the center of the historic district for more casual exploring. A productive and informative walk with a small group made the time well spent. Highly RECOMMEND.

Finding the starting point at the tour office was a little tricky as the taxi could only take us to the end of the plaza. With the help of locals we found it tucked away in an alley off the main plaza. Our guide was very passionate about her city of Malaga and took us on a history tour throughout. Plenty of time was allowed for photos and questions. It was an easy walk at a manageable pace.

Lovely, friendly and informative guide "Gandy". Related in an engaging and interesting manner the history of its Phoenician and Moorish past. Patiently answered questions whilst pointing out the different styles of the building. The time raced past especially during the tour of the magnificent cathedral. Well worth the fee.

Local guide (Maria) was excellent! The guide on the bus was ok, but his French (and English) was somewhat poor. Didn't seem as well organized as others on other tours. Some people on the bus switched seats when stopping at breaks or returning. Guide on the bus should advise no to do that.
