It is virtually impossible to acquire individual tickets and initially I was skeptical that the price would be worth it. But both my wife and I were very happy we booked this guided viewing of the Last Supper. The tour group made it very easy to locate them in the piazza near the ticketing area. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and we received an thorough background to the creation of the painting, the details of its symbolism, and its restoration. We would highly recommend this guided tour.

Frankly I only signed up for this because there were no direct tickets available for the date I needed. I have taken a Renaissance art class and knew quite a bit about the painting already; I just wanted to see it. So I can't say I learned anything new, but the talk given provided the information someone with basic curiosity would be glad to know, and the guide was pleasant and knew his stuff. It's a good value.

Impressions are great, this is an amazing work. It is worth having a guide to understand them. The only remark is that it turned out that the entrance at 2:15 PM is actually 2:45 PM because we were joined by a group that was going for a walk around Milan after visiting the Last Supper. It's good that we had another scheduled attraction booked with adequate reserves
